WEEK 2
WEEK 2
The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.
However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 2 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

investigation!
Anyway, the new areas are definitely where his attention is going to be today - for most of the day he'll be in the science museum, examining every little thing in awe. There isn't anything like this in Nohr?? This is so cool. He's primarily interested in the museum portion, but you can definitely catch him in the aquarium staring at the fish. Either way, he's taking notes and absolutely fascinated by everything here.
Of course, while he's here, he might as well investigate! His primary focus initially is on the museum side - but first he's interested in looking for any doors besides the locked one - is there some way to actually get back into those exhibits?
The art studio is where you can find him later on, picking up some notebooks and inks and... actually, he's just going to swipe a bunch of stuff, come loot with him!! Or tell him to stop looting. If you're stopping by, Iago will eventually greet you.]
This place is a wreck. You'd think our hosts would clean up a bit...
SCIENCE
Learning a lot here?
[He must be, since he's taking notes.]
no subject
Yes, there's so much to learn here. Having everything out on display like this is so fascinating...

Could you see Lady cleaning up for anyone>

Very true. If anyone would be doing it, it would be Rembrandt.

I'm sure the owner would have called it organized chaos. Now would you mind not being so greedy?
no subject
Why? So you can be greedy? I'm taking as much as I want.
[nothing is going to keep him from snagging colored ink!!!]

Investigation
Yes! You can get into these exhibits. The doors that lead into them are unlocked, and some have velvet cords surrounding them, but it's not like you'll be stopped if you get past them. No security guards at all in this place!
You're welcome to manhandle the exhibitions all you want! Is there any in particular you'd like to check in detail?]

Haha, find something that caught your eye?
no subject
Yes, look at these! What bizarre creatures...
[jellyfish probably exist in fire emblem: fates but also nohr isn't near the ocean so of course he's interested in them.]

[You seem. Really into this.]
no subject
I am, yes. Look at all of this, there's so much to study here!
[is any of it actually important to his conquest of nohr? nnnnno, but like hell if he's going home without a thorough understanding of dinosaurs!!!]

Museum
This really is fascinating, isn't it? I wonder how they make sure all the creatures are well cared for.
no subject
I imagine Rembrandt is taking care of things here...? I doubt the Lady would bother with it herself, but who knows. Perhaps she's very fond of aquatic life.

More importantly, though, as he looks over from the other end of a fish tank-- ]
What did you do with your hair?
[ did you find shampoo what the fuck ]

Cumore offered me something to assist with it.

Now I feel fortunate that the housing was at least taken care of. This room is a disaster.
no subject
It's certainly strange, isn't it? Everything else has been cleaned up for us, even if it isn't ideal. It almost looks like Rembrandt didn't even try.

[Like. Eyeing the looting going on here?? He's not going to bother remarking on it out loud, though; it's not like the pristine state of the city is really his business, responsibility or even in his interest. Broken-down things are unsightly, but he has no stake in this one, he thinks.
Instead he'll move to examine the less... raided parts of the studio himself, light fingers over the remaining supplies and pieces and the dead kiln. He doesn't bother to take anything for himself.]
no subject
That's true, but doesn't it seem odd that this is the only location we have access to that wasn't neat to begin with?

Ah! Did someone finally find the keycard? Excellent, excellent!
[He's...going to be disappointed by the lab's contents, but oh well.]
Anything of interest in there, Iago?
no subject
Yes, I did find it. It was located in a very strange place... Ah, but that's not the point.
[He inclines his head toward the lab.]
I'm afraid much of this is a bit beyond me, so someone will have to do a more thorough inspection later, but it does seem very interesting.

It is. We don't have anything quite like it in Nohr.
