WEEK 2
WEEK 2
The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.
However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 2 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

Museums like this are one of the many ways to pass education on to others. It gets information out more quickly because you don't have the limitations of needing another person to explain things, and seeing this kind of thing in person makes it easier to understand. I should have expected a city this large to have one.
Though I wonder if any dates are written on any of these. That should help us narrow down the time period where everyone disappeared.

[That second part, though...]
That could certainly prove useful. An area this large is bound to have something left behind for us to find.

[...yeah, okay, there's a clear favorite, though—]
I'm absolutely fascinated by those "dinosaurs", however. They're nothing like wyverns... And displaying an ancient creature's bones for all to see is certainly morbid!
[...that one's the main reason.]

Oh, that makes sense. I can see where that would be entirely too much of a hassle; recreations would be far easier to take care of. Or replace, should something happen to them.

It seems as though the people of this city haven't been gone for very long, but I find it hard to believe that the Lady and Rembrandt could have gotten all of this set up in a short amount of time.

Out of curiosity, can most things happening here be explained by powers or abilities that exist in your world?

The only hurdle is that every ability can only do one specific thing, so it would require a whole team of ability-users to create all the effects being used here.
