Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.

Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.

[ He'll look confused, especially since he's not sure what the other will do with it, but will do so. ]

[ He'll stand beside Rean to write in the notebook, letting him see the words on the page. ]

[ Might be the only apology from Dazai in existence. Then he'll hand it back over to Rean. ]

[ He's mostly concerned with the fruit tart and the other chatter, but this whole exchange hardly goes unnoticed. ]

Now, now, as the saying goes—care to share with the class? [ With a snap of his fingers, one of the flames from the candlelight jumps to the notebook burning the page. Might want to stop drop and roll the whole notebook though. At least the message was short so Rean probably saw it anyway! ]

I'm certainly not complaining about your presence here, but it is a bit strange to have a discussion with you out in the open like this.

That it is. I would say carry on as usual, but I imagine that would be difficult.

[ He reaches over and grabs a fruit tart, inspecting it closely. ]

All of that being said, whether I report my findings here to the Lady isn't set in stone.

[ Holding the tart up to one of the candles lit in the room, his inspection continues. ]

[It's a joke, unless Rembrandt takes it seriously and then it isn't a joke!!

Ah, I was wondering if it was poisoned or laced with a sedative. Far be it from me to assume that I would be invited to a meeting without some kind of ploy involved.

[ And then he just eats the tart, frowning slightly. ]

You can never be too certain. But it appears to be fine, if not lacking sugar and a pinch of salt. [ All smiles here. ]
