WEEK 3
WEEK 3
Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.
Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.
[[Welcome to Week 3! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 3 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

THURSDAY
WEATHER
High: 59°F (15°C)
Low: 40°F (4°C)]
SOMETHING HAPPENED
It's at the hotel. Right outside an hydrant was broken, thrown aside against the wall, water flowing from the pipe it was connected to, flooding the street until it all flowed down the sewer grates. Puddles of more water litter the place, bits of ice float on them like tiny icebergs. Not too far away, one of the storefronts shattered, revealing the empty interior. Glass shards are all over the floor, but there's also a few larger, bright crystals among them, like something else also shattered inside this place. The hotel's facade is wet, but there doesn't seem to be any blood or anything similar around here.
The hotel lobby was mercifully spared, the only sign something went through are wet puddles spread all over the place -- the footprints of someone with soaked feet running by. There are so many it's going to take ages to clean! They all lead towards the same door, a door people may be familiar with already: the pool's door.
There's a short hallway behind that door. Once you leave the lobby and walk into it, you see the doors towards the pool, closed. Water's leaking under the door, soaking the carpet, spreading like a miasma at ground level, more and more coming out. There's nothing to do but enter the pool and face the music.
It's pretty bad in here! Water has covered every part of the floor, and there's much more ice around here, stained with blood. Red blood and, strangely enough, a blue liquid of the same consistency are sprinkled on the floor, the water not doing much to wash it. The pool itself has a rather large chunk of ice, embedded into the wall so deep it breaks some of the piping of the pool, leaving it unusable -- not that you'd want to swim in it, due to all the toilet paper and book pages floating in it!
In other words: this pool area is a complete mess]
I am majorly disappointed.
[That's a voice you may be familiar with, amplified by a megaphone. It's the Lady, standing at a side with Rembrandt dutifully doing his job as her bodyguard. She looks so annoyed, glaring at everyone gathered. The Lady raises the megaphone, continuing her announcement:]
Apparently someone is so useless he can't even kill correctly! And now I have to stand here and ruin the fun by revealing this is pointless because although somebody died, the creatures were the killer here! What good is that?!
[She sighs]
It doesn't matter, anyway. What led to that was great. Don't worry, everyone, we have already taken care of body cleanup. It's sudden, but Pizza is no longer among you. Don't ask me who is to blame here, you don't need me to hold your hands. This is going to be simple.
Call me when someone dies by your hands, alright?
[With a last scornful glare, she turns off the megaphone and leaves the pool area, taking Rembrandt with her. There's not even an autopsy report, or any information from them. After all, the creatures were the culprits here.
With that, Pizza is dead]
Re: SOMETHING HAPPENED
If someone enters, they'll find Mikami's voice sounding hollow (hah).]
Where's Zangetsu?

That's what I want to know.

[ He might be framed but Mikami doesn't believe in that.]
no subject
[Though admittedly he doesn't know Alfyn at all, so who knows!!]
There's only so far he could have gone. We'll find him at some point.

[That is really the question of the day here, as far as he's concerned.]
The victim here wasn't precisely the most capable among us. How did someone fail this badly at killing him.

Anyway, how about the area around the pool? There's a ton of water and blood and blue
bloodliquid here, right? Any crystals just sort of chilling anywhere in all this mess?](no subject)
