WEEK 3

Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.

Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.

[the inside of the tram station is empty, but if Dazai follows the trail of icy destruction from the Hotel to the side streets, he may notice there's a trail of blue droplets on the ground, leading to behind the station]

[ Oh goody. Time to follow the blue droplets around to behind the station. What do we have here? ]

[Following the drops leads to their source -- a boy in white, slumped against the wall of the tram station. He has a long katana in one hand and his white clothes are soaking wet and stained with dark blue in quite a few places, as well as some red splatter, making an interesting watercolor indeed. Parts of his clothes are also frozen solid, stiff in unnatural folds. Aside from looking beat to hell and back, one of his horns is broken about halfway down. But there's no doubt about who it is...

Zangetsu is...

still alive! Look, he's breathing, so it's all cool]

[ Oh here he is. ]

Not really my type of sleeping princess.

[ Just going to kneel down and start poking him. ]

Come on~ I don't want to carry you.

[Zangetsu grumbles when he's poked. From the scratches on his face, it's clear the blue stuff is actually his blood... or whatever counts for blood in this weirdo.

He cracks one eye open after a few more prods and swats at Dazai with his free hand]

Hnnnggh. Go 'way.

This isn't a really good place to take a nap.

[ He'll grab Zan's arm, while standing up. Time to pull up on him ]

I can drop you off into the ball pit if you prefer.

This is.. a fine place ta take a nap-- hhrrnngh!

[as he gets pulled up, he lets the sword fall to the ground with a clatter so he can grab his side. Fresh blue blood, much brighter than the dried stuff, blossoms through his wet clothes. He hisses, and freezes the wound shut]

You jerk me up like that again, I promise to bleed all over you.

Oh my, it looks like you're all cut up.

[ Without an ounce of remorse. ]

I won't have to jerk you up again if you cooperate.

[ He's going to turn around, putting Zan's arm over his shoulder as he leans down. He's going to try to fireman carry him. ]

Yeah. Ulquiorra did a number on me, heh.

[hnnggh. Fine. Hold on. He carefully picks back up the sword and puts it in the sheath at his waist. He spent five whole monies on that!!]

Lovers' spat?

[ Okay, he'll let him grab his sword, before finally getting his big butt up and hooking an arm around his legs. Time to start heading to where there might be people. ]

Ew no, gross. I was gonna kill him for the motive. But then we got to fightin' and it ended in a draw anyway...

So how did Pizza get involved?

[ Might as well ask him before he hands him over to Mikami future Lawzard at Large ]

Pizza? What about Pizza?

Lady did let us know someone failed in their attempt, but someone still died. She said the creatures killed Pizza.

Wait... what?! [Zangetsu sounds genuinely surprised by this knowledge] Wait, stop. Hold on. Pizza is dead...?

We didn't see the body, but that's what Lady told us.

[ the kid has been cooked ].

[Zangetsu falls silent for a few long moments, and when he speaks again, all the nonchalant cheer is gone from his voice]

Dammit...

I don't.... I'm... I'm not sure how that happened... [he holds his hand to his head] It's a blur...

It could be unrelated. Lady could be trying to get people to turn against you like she did Ango.

Or your little bonding time with your enemy brought the creatures and Pizza together.

Well, she does probably hate me, heh...

[he groans, trying to remember...]

No... Ulquiorra and I were goin' at it with our ice... and then someone tried to interfere... was it Pizza? Dammit... I liked that guy.

[ They seem to be losing all the good ones. ]

Think hard about it. It won't be long before we run into others.

Heh... so this is how it ends, huh.

[because if Pizza is dead, and they think he's the one who did it, his ass is definitely grass]

Ulquiorra will have the whole story. He doesn't black out when he fights.

Could be. If you're lucky, we'll run into someone who will keep anyone from trying to take justice into their own hands.

[ Dazai isn't one of those though. ]

Any ideas on where he might be?

Or we could run into Mikami.

[and that would just be Great]

None. I guess he probably sulked off to lick his wounds, too.

Mikami is looking around for you. Should we go meet up with him?

[ :D ]

... I'd really rather not.

[but it doesn't seem like he's gonna get a choice]
