WEEK 3
WEEK 3
Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.
Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.
[[Welcome to Week 3! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 3 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

Oh? Wouldn't she be interested in this as well?
[...not that we're actually doing anything today, but.]

[ Holding the tart up to one of the candles lit in the room, his inspection continues. ]

[It's a joke, unless Rembrandt takes it seriously and then it isn't a joke!!
...But uh...]
What are you looking for?

[ #not a joke tm. ]
Ah, I was wondering if it was poisoned or laced with a sedative. Far be it from me to assume that I would be invited to a meeting without some kind of ploy involved.
[ And then he just eats the tart, frowning slightly. ]

I don't believe any of us would be stupid enough to try to poison you.
[YOU GUYS BETTER NOT PROVE HIM WRONG]

You can never be too certain. But it appears to be fine, if not lacking sugar and a pinch of salt. [ All smiles here. ]

As I said, I don't believe anyone here is stupid enough to attempt to poison you. So everything should be fine.
[...not that he's going to be eating, but you know. it's fine.]

[ Nonchalantly, like he's chatting about the weather. ]

[ So, fair. ]
But, huh. I knew you'd make a terrible priest, but I didn't know you were so bad someone would poison you over it. What did you even do?
no subject
Ah, this was before that time.
no subject
[ Same thing, probs? Shrug. ] As much as I wanna hear this story, I'll spare you and avoid asking. Some things are best left unsaid, anyway.

[ He smiles. ]

Then it's a good thing I'm letting you off the hook. Anyhow, I think you have somewhere to be.
