The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.

However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.

[Iago's actually here this time because he didn't feel the need to lock himself in his room after the motive and scream into a pillow for most of the day, so at least there's that.

I found this in a strange location in the museum. It opened the door to the lab, though I haven't thoroughly examined the place. [At least partially because he's still learning about all the technology this place has to offer.] I do believe it would be good to look it over and see what we can learn. Considering the strange placement of this, [shaking the key card] I'm very curious to see if the lab has anything important inside.

I also spoke to Rembrandt after the incident on Monday. He was quite irritated with the Lady's actions and seemed tired, although he did say he doesn't need to sleep.

Inside the mouth of that fake dinosaur.

Now how on earth did it get in there?

My thoughts exactly. It isn't something that could have possibly happened accidentally, so my thought is that someone put it there. It wasn't a particularly good hiding place - and if they wanted to keep something from us, they could just hold onto it themselves - so perhaps they simply wanted to see what we'd do.

... What if they wanted someone to find it?

That's certainly a possibility. I'm not entirely sure why, but it's possible the lab has something in it that they want us to see.

Well then... We had better get a closer look before someone else finds it first.

Of course. I'm sure someone will head there after this meeting.

A lab...if the Lady had subordinates working for her, then it's possible one started to feel guilty and wanted to leave a clue behind.

It's certainly possible, but I'm not sure how likely that is. It seems as though the two of them are able to oversee everything just fine on their own, after all.

They are now. When they were cleaning out this place, though, things might have been different.

That's true. We'll have to see what we can find.

Pretty sure she messed around with the lab. She may have even covered up some of the exhibits there. I found a piece of her hair~

What was the sheet covering? Could it have been something relevant to her interests?
