WEEK 4
WEEK 4
Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.
But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.
[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

[ Dazai can be found in the Laundromat wearing a black hoodie from the opera house, and a pair of black trousers. He's loading up the washer machine with...
bandages.
Some of them may even have some old blood stains on them. He's putting them in there with a little bleach and one forbidden snack. ]
Tram it
[ Later, he can be found inside of the tram in the drive's seat. On the dash, there's a skull the tarot shop. ]
Now let's see...
[ He's skimming through the instruction manual. Looks like someone is thinking about driving. ]
Tram it 2.0
[ If anyone is by the tram stations, they might see a tram speeding through as fast as it'll go with Dazai in the driver's seat. Gotta go fast!
He will break very suddenly and at the last minute at each station in case anyone wants to get on. This will be fine. ]
tram it
Are you familiar with these things?
[The tram, he means.]
no subject
We have them in my world.
[ Checking how fast they could go and make a che sound under his breath. ]
This doesn't go fast enough...
no subject
I hesitate to ask, but does it really need to go all that fast?
cw: dazai's shit (death)
At this speed, you're more likely to just get a concussion or a lot of bruises if it derails.
cw: dazai's shit (death)
[HE DOESN'T.]
Well, I'm certainly not going to stop you from... having fun [you can practically hear the ??? here] but do try not to get anyone killed.
cw: dazai's shit (death)
I won't~ I don't want to help Lady out with her plans, after all.
[ He won't drag anyone down with him ]
cw: dazai's shit (death)
Fair enough. Someone likely will tonight, of course.
[we're on a murder schedule here.......]
Anyway, tell me what you've learned about how to operate this. I'm entirely unfamiliar with this sort of technology.
[just like everything else...........]

[ It's an interesting thing to ponder about.
He'll flip the page back to the diagram for all the levers, knobs, and buttons. ]
You start it here, and this is to increase the speed.
[ The two important things clearly ]
no subject
Oh, I see. How do you stop it?
[THAT ONE MIGHT BE IMPORTANT TOO...]

[ It's a yellow button. ]

[ Let's just ignore all the other buttons. Only four things are important. ]

tram 2.0!!
He is also quite alarmed to see it coming full speed at him.
H-Hm.
He's about to get the fuck out of dodge until it comes to a stop and...Dazai is at the helm.]
When did this happen? Because I highly doubt it was you who restored power.
[No offense Dazai.]
no subject
Peeking his head out through the window as he gives a wave. ]
Oh~ Our friends in Twilight brought back power. Pretty nice, right?
[ Except for the fact that Dazai is terrible driver even if the car is on rails. ]
no subject
That said...]
What? They made another appearance?
[...and this was their doing? Huh...]
no subject
[ It's Dazai. He won't judge.
He may tease though ]
no subject
[He immediately thinks of Seteth. Hopefully he'll be okay with a chunk of soul missing?!]
Did they have anything else to impart on us? I wouldn't have guessed that it was them restoring power...
no subject
The Lady's goals might need our powers. We're closer to the end of this, or the manifestation as they called it. That we shouldn't do the plans we thought of at the meeting. They can see and hear us. She's after our souls and not our brains..
[ Thinking about what else was said. ]
I may have missed anything more.
[ It's hard paying attention to everyone's conversations at one tbh ]
no subject
I- I see. That is certainly plenty to work with, at least. Thank you for getting me caught up.
[He'll have to mull it all over later, because hoo boy. For now though, he'll return his attention to the tram.]
I see you've quickly made use of their efforts. You had better not be planning on wrecking it.
[Dramatic irony...]
no subject
You should come join us next time. Just keep an eye out for any lights that shouldn't be on.
[ It's good someone made the most of the tram and the arcade before they both died. RIP the real victims of the week ]
It doesn't go fast enough to be worth wrecking.
[ He wants MOAR SPEED pls ]
no subject
[He'd love to hear all of this information firsthand, after all.
As for the tram...]
Even at higher speeds, I would reprimand you for even considering it! They are fantastic pieces of machinery, not your toys to turn into scrap metal!

[Plus he hasn't even seen one of the trains down there.]

[ Don't ask why he's into gotta go fast ]
Rean mentioned there was something odd about rails down there.
