WEEK 4
WEEK 4
Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.
But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.
[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

That said...]
What? They made another appearance?
[...and this was their doing? Huh...]

[ It's Dazai. He won't judge.
He may tease though ]

[He immediately thinks of Seteth. Hopefully he'll be okay with a chunk of soul missing?!]
Did they have anything else to impart on us? I wouldn't have guessed that it was them restoring power...

The Lady's goals might need our powers. We're closer to the end of this, or the manifestation as they called it. That we shouldn't do the plans we thought of at the meeting. They can see and hear us. She's after our souls and not our brains..
[ Thinking about what else was said. ]
I may have missed anything more.
[ It's hard paying attention to everyone's conversations at one tbh ]

I- I see. That is certainly plenty to work with, at least. Thank you for getting me caught up.
[He'll have to mull it all over later, because hoo boy. For now though, he'll return his attention to the tram.]
I see you've quickly made use of their efforts. You had better not be planning on wrecking it.
[Dramatic irony...]

You should come join us next time. Just keep an eye out for any lights that shouldn't be on.
[ It's good someone made the most of the tram and the arcade before they both died. RIP the real victims of the week ]
It doesn't go fast enough to be worth wrecking.
[ He wants MOAR SPEED pls ]

[He'd love to hear all of this information firsthand, after all.
As for the tram...]
Even at higher speeds, I would reprimand you for even considering it! They are fantastic pieces of machinery, not your toys to turn into scrap metal!

[Plus he hasn't even seen one of the trains down there.]

[ Don't ask why he's into gotta go fast ]
Rean mentioned there was something odd about rails down there.

There is. There is some kind of electrical pulse making its way along the rails. Rather, it seems electrical, but...there is something about it that I cannot quite place. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools to truly work out what it could be.
