WEEK 4
WEEK 4
Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.
But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.
[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]
bridge; cw: being really terrible about suicide again
He looks up and smiles. ]
A shame it's not high enough up for jumping to be reliably fatal, hm?
cw on this whole thing
[ He doesn't even look to verify, which means he might have already entertained the thought for a moment. ]
Are you looking into places where I can die? How sweet of you~

For the best~ Wouldn't want to ruin this bridge. It's a Lovers' Bridge.
[ He'll hop down from his perch to poke at one of the locks. ]

What, is there some superstition about spending your life with whoever you cross it with or something?
[ what's with the locks ]
no subject
Instead he'll point out one of the locks which has a pair of initials with a heart between them. ]
It's the locks. You put a lock on the bridge with your lover. We have one in Yokohama.

[ like, HE'S LOOKING AT THE LOCKS, but that just seems so dumb ]
Where did that tradition come from?
no subject
[ Peeking around at some of the others. ]
Do you know how to pick locks?
