WEEK 4
WEEK 4
Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.
But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.
[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]
mingle + arcade investigation
Hello~ This is a pretty interesting bridge.
[ He's not sorry if he startled anyone.
Then he's hitting up the Boutique, looking through jackets to put over his suit's coat. ]
What do you think? I don't think it's my color.
[ Later, he can be found in the arcade. Time to investigate! He's going to be checking coin slots and skeet ball holes to see if anyone stashed anything in them. ]
boutique
Really? What color is it?
[ He'll turn to look at the other suit carefully. ]
no subject
See something you like?
no subject
Oh, maybe. I'm not sure yet.
[ He was looking at a collection of dark fabrics—mature colors, like the late fallen leaves of autumn. ]
...Hmm, what do you think? Would dark red or a dark green be a good fabric for a turtleneck shirt?
no subject
Looking at the colors. ]
Dark red. [ Lightly, giving a certain belt around Rean's thighs a tap. ] That way you'll match.
[ Or maybe he's been looking for an excuse to touch one of them. ]
You can sew.
[ How many skills can one Instructor hold ]

bridge; cw: being really terrible about suicide again
He looks up and smiles. ]
A shame it's not high enough up for jumping to be reliably fatal, hm?
cw on this whole thing
[ He doesn't even look to verify, which means he might have already entertained the thought for a moment. ]
Are you looking into places where I can die? How sweet of you~
no subject
Always.

For the best~ Wouldn't want to ruin this bridge. It's a Lovers' Bridge.
[ He'll hop down from his perch to poke at one of the locks. ]

bridge;
That's one way of putting it, yes.
no subject
It's a Love Lock Bridge or a Lovers' Bridge. Do you have someone you want to proclaim your love with?
no subject
I should certainly think not. I'm not really the sort for love or proclamations of it.
no subject
Don't you think it would be fun though? Leaving proof that for a moment there was something you felt that strongly about. Something you felt worth leaving for others to find as proof.

bridge
What are you doing up there?
[He settles easily enough, at least, and goes back to... examining all these locks. Why are there so many??]
no subject
Enjoying the view.
[ He watches Iago check out the locks. ]
It seems like there aren't many worlds that have that tradition.
no subject
What tradition?
[He glances up at Dazai at that, are you just... gonna hang out up there...]
no subject
This is a Lovers' bridge. You bring your lover her and add a lock. It's a lot like carving your initials in a tree or shouting love from a rooftop.

Investigation
Check this first coin slot and you'll find...a coin! Nice! And there's another over there. More change to add to your Polish money collection? The skeet ball holes don't seem to have anything, though...]

He'll pick it up to hold on to.
Okay, is there anything personal left there? Jackets, keys, or something else? Is there a desk with drawers? ]

boutique, bless you pan
Oh, am I the local fashion expert now?
no subject
The jacket is red this time, which might actually bring out the touch of red in his brown eyes. ]
Have you seen what some of the others wear?
[ Ango has his suits and then there's the ruffles and tit window brigade. ]
Are you looking for anything?
no subject
Yes, but it's not like I'm a fashionista myself. Why not ask someone like Cumore or Dist?
[ raven does not like their fashion sense ok that's why she's recommending them >:/ ]
And not in particular. It's just that I'd rather wear whatever's in here than the priest robes.
no subject
Think I could pull Cumore's look with these bandages?
[ Instead of cleavage, it would just be bandages there. Sexy if you're into mummies ]
There's some flannel in here. You could pull that off.
[ He's just going to look through the fall stuff to hand something red and black over to her ]
