WEEK 3
WEEK 3
Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.
Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.
[[Welcome to Week 3! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 3 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

Instead, he'll use his eggs (eyeballs) to peer at her notes without an ounce of reservation. If you've got 'em out then you're basically the local library, that's clearly how things work around here. That being said, the gunblade does get another curious side glance; he's certainly seen more curious weapons, but not here.]
I suppose this must pass for relaxation here.
[It's not disapproving, but it's not approving either.]
It's a personal blade?

there's also something that reads "she doesn't know all, just enough". ]
I'd hardly call it personal. It was something I got using my Skala around a week or two ago.

[So just regular generic notes, then, except possibly not in code?? Ulquiorra is one of those assholes who keeps everything in his head (or eyeballs) and never bothers writing down a thing, whether out of paranoia or just a sense of austerity or the fact that a ballpoint pen really clashes with his aesthetic.
Something like that. His gaze moves from the blade back over to its owner, considering that last phrase.]
You've been collecting information on that woman.

The Lady and I have a...cordial relationship. She's more willing to work with me than she is with others. May as well use that to my advantage.

Appearances aside, he's quite used to not having to beat around the bush.]
She has her pets, I see.
[... it's almost more thoughtful than derisive?]
What use does she get out of you?

she closes her book after ulquiorra asks his question. whether it's because of him goes unsaid. ]
She studies Sanguis through me, mostly.

So he lets her bookish rumblings roll by, and merely nods.]
To think that she must study these abilities she's thrown to the four winds...
[The Hougyoku isn't nearly as irritating nor as unpredictable -- or at least, the lord of Las Noches had made it look that way -- but he's biased.]
And you in turn study Sanguis through her.

[ a little grunt before she leans back on her hands, feet in the water. ]
And that wouldn't be wrong, I suppose. She's learning, just like the rest of us are.
