Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.

Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.

[He's implying that he has something to apologize for.]

An apology? I'm afraid I don't follow.

I'm attempting to make amends for the trial a couple days ago. It wasn't fair to put the suspicion on you when the important clues didn't fit you.

[psychophant]

[He nods briefly.]

It wasn't fair, no. There were others who ignored the evidence as well, and I can understand that tensions were high and many of us were not at our best.

Apology accepted. As long as our group doesn't descend into madness attempting to lay blame where it doesn't fit, we may still have a chance at making it through this.

I agree. Should the situation arise again, we should follow a better procedure to keep from getting wound up and making false accusations.

[psychophant]

Yes. I understand some suspicion with alibis, but that trial was - to put it bluntly - a disaster. We need to be more careful in the future.

[notbymyside]

Right.

[But now, to better topics. Because even if there probably will be a murder this week he doesn't want to think about it right now.]

So, are you off to a party with all of this?

[psychophant]

[That is absolutely fair enough, let's not dwell on the past or the future, which will undoubtedly involve more murder!!]

Oh no. [He waves a hand at that.] I'm simply going to take this to my room.

[........it's totally a one-person party, does that count???]

A one-person party, then.

[Yep, it counts.]

Perhaps you can invite a couple people to drink with you, so it's a bit more lively? Liquor tastes better when shared with others.

Hmm, perhaps.

[Though from the sound of it, that's a no. Exactly how many people here does he trust enough to let down his guard around?? There's like. Dist??? Dist probably cries when he's drunk, no thanks.]

I'll keep it in mind, at the very least.

[Dist was who he had in mind, honestly. But he won't push the point too much, since the offer was already made.]

[well......... now everyone knows he has at least one (1) friend......... truly the most awful outcome of this trial.........]

[He snags another two bottles and heads towards the door, then pauses.]
