WEEK 3
WEEK 3
Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.
Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.
[[Welcome to Week 3! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 3 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

I think if we move a washer and dryer over to the opera house, then we can plug them in there and do some laundry. Anyone care to help me move a set? Gravitas is useless here, it would destroy the machinery.
[Regardless of whether that ends in success or failure, Ango will spend the afternoon taking a quick look around the new locations and jotting down some notes on them. It's not a full search, but more of a cursory glance to get a general idea of what the new locations are like. His notes are written in Japanese if anyone wants to peek.]
[Finally, in the evening, Ango can be found in the jazz bar with a bottle of whiskey and a cup by him. The bottle is missing about 1/4th of its contents at this point and it's unclear if Ango has been the only one to drink from it or not, but he certainly seems in a good enough mood for a conversation. He's even reaching behind the bar to grab a second glass for whoever shows up.]
No ice, but it tastes just fine.
[No slur to his speech, so he's probably just tipsy, not drunk. But he may be headed that way soon, he's showing no signs of stopping.]
jazz bar
[ raven takes the glass that ango prepares for her. she sits at the bar and takes a swig of her drink. ]
Not as good as the whiskey we have at housing, but it'll do.

[This is the swill for getting drunk on, he means.]

It also sounded like he needed someone to stop him from going overboard. ]
It's really that good?

[Rean looks young, Ango is betting that he doesn't actually drink.]

Whiskey will be fine, actually. I've had some from time to time, after all, and I don't have too much of a preference when it comes to this sort of thing. Well, as long as it's not an intensely strong drink.
[ Randy and co. have introduced him to some drinks that've made him wonder how he got through the night okay.
Anyway, despite how young he looked, he actually has had his own drinks in the past. ]
no subject
Well! If you're familiar with your drinks, then that makes this easier.
[Enjoy that glass of whiskey, Rean.]
This is a stronger liquor, which is why the amount in the glass is small. I don't have anything to put in it, unfortunately. Some citrus would be nice.

Ango! [ Hi friendo hi. He's going to look at the machines he's talking about moving before he snaps his finger. ]
We could try using the dollies from the Opera House.
no subject
[That would be perfect actually, if they can get a washer and dryer up on one and wheel it over to the opera house.]

[ Gesturing for him to follow. ]
I'll show you where.

Laundromat
Ango's idea is intriguing and he loves it, but... ]
Are there proper water lines in the Opera? Electricity alone isn't going to help us if the actual water flow isn't there.

[ He pauses, almost embarrassed. ]
I never had to plug in a washer myself, admittedly. I went from public laundromats to having one installed professionally.

I figured you wouldn't. Which is why I had something else in mind for you if you like.
[Presenting: vodka!]
no subject
Ahh, I've never had vodka before. [ Cupping the class carefully in his hands. ] Is there a certain way you're supposed to drink it?
Laundromat
I believe Lux would be even more destructive than that, so I must apologize.
[ Now to think with portals. Or other powers. ]
Can Gravitas only strengthen the gravity of object?
