Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.

Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.

[Nope! Looks like the areas with the booze are all clear. Hey, look at the bright side: at least it means there's nothing sinister about the alcohol. You all can drink to your heart's content]

...hm. Nothing. There's plenty of seats here, both for those who just want to sit around and enjoy a drink, and those who want to be closer to the jazz band]

[ What kind of seats are these, btw, like just individual chairs, or sectional couches or something? Any space for someone to drop things between them? Is the cleaning staff here just that good? ]

[These are long leather couches, comfy and rather high-quality. The booze may not be nothing to write home about, but the seating is very good! But nobody comes to a jazz bar for the seats.

At least everything is rather clean. The cleaning staff is, in fact, very good at what they do]

Let's take a look at the piano, which he has no idea how to play. Is the bench the kind you can store sheet music inside, or is it just a plain bench? ]

[Yup, there's sheet music inside this bench! Nice! There's a few -- curiously enough, all of them are piled in a very neat pile. Maybe a bit too neatly]

[ Welp, let's look through it. What do we have? ]

[A quick glance through all of them will show they're all sheet music in here. Most of it is exclusively for piano, except one. The one named 'Saint-Saëns - Danse Macabre, C18' has violin too.]

[ Pretty sure he can guess what it's supposed to invoke from the title, though he has no idea what the actual song sounds like and can't read music at all! That's kind of interesting though, he'll have to take a look at those other instruments around the room in a bit here and see if there's actually a violin.

[Oh yes. The violin itself.

There's a violin among the instruments. What would usually be one instrument more right now sticks out of the bunch, due to two reasons: one, do jazz bands use violins? Possibly? Two, it's of a much higher quality than any other instrument around here. It's like finding a diamond in the rough.

How familiar are you with musical instruments, Rideaux?]

[ NOT VERY, and especially not with strings since Elympios is also a pretty jazz-centric place (though he does at least think it's kind of a weird instrument to have here because of that).

He probably doesn't know a viola and a violin aren't the same thing, rip. ]

[Then there's not much you can tell about the violin, Rideaux! Although really, its presence sticking out of here like a sore thumb is something worthwhile.

But sweet, he'll chill out with a drink as far from Dazai as possible, then. He will be back to investigate the jukebox whenever the power comes on in here!! ]
