WEEK 3
WEEK 3
Another week, another set of bodies to add to the pile. Two lured in by The Lady's machinations, and another two done in by misfortune; six of your number are dead already. Who knows who it will be the next time? And for what reason? Nevertheless, there’s no choice but to keep pushing on in your own way; whether that means barricading yourself inside your room for the rest of your stay, leaving artwork of your fellow Survivors around the housing area, or eating all the raw meat in the vicinity… well, everyone deals with things differently.
Either way, you understand the drill by now, yes? Another portion of the city reveals itself as the fog retreats yet again, lampposts lighting the way to the new areas as usual. The full moon wanes to half this week too, so make the most of it.
[[Welcome to Week 3! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 3 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

MOTIVE
Motive
I'm sure you will all be glad to hear everything is progressing smoothly -- and now I'm willing to offer what I have learned recently. What happened with Noelle and Mako was quite something. You may believe their deaths meant what I did was a failure, but I'll tell you a little secret: they didn't die because that was a failed attempt. They died because we wanted them to keep their mouth shuts, after having been in my castle. Let that be a warning in case any of you are planning to sneak in there.
Now that I made that clear, here's some information you may not be aware of: even after you leave Krakow, the odds you won't get your power back are rather high! [She smiles] And I'm aware a few of you rely on your old abilities quite a bit. I'm sorry for your loss, dear, but that's how this works. Your current powers have replaced them. Luckily for you all, what I have learned from my experiment on Noelle and Mako was just the information I needed. I can turn an unlikely scenario into a certainty.
So if you want your one and only chance to guarantee you recover said powers and keep the one you have right now, kill someone, will you? And if you believe such a thing is not possible, feel free to come see me at my office. I'll show you the basis behind the procedure and explain to you all the details. Well, all the details except the exact method I use. I already can imagine a few of you will come see me and pretend to be interested, so I'm keeping a couple details hidden.
That's all, darlings. I'll be waiting~

[ Finally a motive that isn't unsettling at all. ]

No real magic talent here unless you count his dots. ] What I'm wondering is why you didn't tell us about Mako and Noelle sooner. Waiting like this only makes it look like you're lying, you know.
[ Like, people were suspicious of the daggers when it happened but ??? at waiting. ]
rolls backward for posterity
There's a brief, complicated movement across his face before he turns away this time. Whether it's because the motive is what it is or because he's going to have to address the most annoying woman in the world is still unclear at this point.]
