WEEK 2
WEEK 2
The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.
However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 2 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

Would you like to try something?
[He's can also be found in the square or the art studio, though he doesn't seem quite inclined to actually make art. He's just keeping himself busy.]
housing
Certainly. I'm not completely fond of sweets, but there's no harm in indulging every once in a while.
Re: housing
He offers a pastry to Seteth, head bobbing.]
I feel as if most of us deserve some sort of treat.
no subject
Seteth lets out a long suffering sigh and takes the pastry, then.]
We certainly do. It's certainly been a time of things...
[He'll finish talking before taking a bite, and...]
...ah, this is good.
no subject
It has been.
[Ignis is visibly pleased, though he doesn't quite preen.]
I'm glad it's to your liking.

housing
What's in it?
no subject
[So if it’s bad it’s not his fault.]
no subject
You already tried them yourself, right? So I would assume you'd know if the difference in ingredients had negatively affected anything.
no subject
[Shrug!]
And certainly not poisoned.
no subject
[ but the fact that "not poisoned" kind of seemed to be an afterthought is probably good.
still. ]
Well. I'll take one for later, unless that's a problem for some reason.
[ LOOK THE WEEK IS ALMOST OVER SO HE JUST WANTS TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE EAT ONE WITHOUT DYING FIRST... ]

housing even though this hurts me
[ He takes one and looks it over. ]
What is it?
:)
[Try it, it’s delicious.]
It’s a traditional Tenebraen pastry made of ulwaat berries and sweet potato.

And as Shiro takes a bite, it really is. See that smile? It's probably the realest, downright happiest one he's given the whole time he's been here. ]
After trying that? I don't think I could ever turn down anything you make. It's delicious.
no subject
There’s also the slightest bit of being flustered over a genuine compliment, but Ignis manages to retain his composure because he’s not useless.]
Perhaps some day I’ll be able to make you something better than a simple pastry, though our options are... Limited.

Oh yum! That's pretty good.
[ Yeah, not even questioning it. ]
no subject
Your compliments are appreciated- it’s not a recipe I’ve made much.
no subject
Oh? What inspired you to make it today?
no subject
I suppose you could say I’m feeling restless. I wouldn’t call myself a stress baker, but... Circumstances are what they are.

art studio
[ she can do neither, so!!! raven approaches him from the entrance but keeps her distance, opting to stand a few feet away from him with her hand on her hip. ]

[It’s a much better use than thinking about, you know, everything else that’s going on.]

[He tilts the canvas at her - it's all abstract swirls and swooshes, and it's rather colorful.]
