The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.

However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.

She made it clear to me she had plans already in mind to make us go along with her.

[ Also seems like she's lowering the numbers of goods, but he's not about to point that out.

Fear is a great motivation for most people. It did get some the others looking at Ango for a moment.

[Rean is a good and doesn't deserve this place or any of Dazai's bullshit. He'll look him in the eye before he puts the used spoon into his mouth just like that. Offering the clean spoon back over to Rean so he can use that one if he wants. ]

It would be too much like a date if we were sharing.

[ He will grab two plates. ]

[ He'll look a little embarrassed for a moment... ]

Dazai...

[ But then Rean will shake his head at Dazai's antics. Time to focus, so he'll nod at his question, filling up those plates right away. ]

We can eat and talk in between about the Lady's desperation to get us to distrust and kill each other. Even if it's unpleasant.

[ Stop being easy, and maybe he won't pull this. Giving a nod towards the entrance of the kitchen. ]

Let's head for the clock tower. We can eat up in the observation deck.

[ For a change of pace. ]

...That'd be a place with a really nice view, actually.

[ Rean was a little excited, though, that excitement was tempered by memories of what happened there last week. But he'll swallow that down, plastering a smile on a face.

He needed to get past that. ]

Have you gone up there for lunch before?

[ Rean began to lead to lead the way there. ]

[ At least it was only the mud and buckets that touched that floor. ]

I haven't~ Thought it wouldn't be bad to try.

[ Maybe they can associate it with something else after this. He'll follow after Rean, being careful to not spill as they go. ]

I've only been up there a couple of times.

[ That's definitely a silver lining. ]

I believe I've only been up there once.

[ He didn't linger for long despite the view. He had rounds to do, to check up on people, and do other things that occupied his time.

Yes, right on top of the school you could see all around the school grounds and even into the town proper. It was honestly really nice.

So you can see when kids were trying to ditch, huh?

[ That's something he would do if he went to school. ]

Haha, luckily we didn't have a problem with that. Thors is a highly esteemed military academy after all, even including the Branch school.

[ He'll smile.

Any student that he might've found cutting class wouldn't make it back without the lecture from hell, followed by detention. Yeah, he was strict. ]
