The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.

However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.

[Lysithea didn't do much after the reveal about the experiments after all, besides going to bed.

She's up early Tuesday morning, and can be found spending some time in the church before anything else. She doesn't seem to be praying, exactly, but she's certainly contemplating something.

A little later on, she can be found looking at the aquarium. She's seen fish before, but never like this, and it's fascinating. If she could take a picture, she would.

Eventually, she'll be found at the McDonald's, trying to figure out what exactly a ball pit is and why you would want one of these. She does not seem to be making much headway.]

[ It's fairly easy to see that she was caught in her own thoughts, which invited his own curiosity... ]

Is something on your mind?

I'm still stuck on what we found out yesterday. It's a lot to work through.

It'll probably be easier to sort through once we have a chance to really talk about it as a group.

I plan on having us come together for another meeting this week, at least.

I think that's a good idea. Probably best to assume that there's going to be a meeting weekly going forward?

Yes. I figured that should help us come together more easily as a group as well.

I know we have different personalities, but...I'd like to think we all want the same thing.

McDonalds

[ Her fascination with the ball pit is not.. instantly comprehensible to Mikami, so he approaches looking almost concerned. ]

Are you having a problem?

Not a problem, per se, I just don't understand?

[She gestures to the ball pit.]

What's the point of having something like that? Wouldn't you just fall in and have trouble getting back out?

It's for children. They supposedly enjoy it.

[ He does not sound totally certain on the enjoyment part. ]

The difficulty moving around in a vague imitation of water is a built-in part of the play experience.

Is this strictly a Krakow thing, or is it universal?

[After a beat.]

...not that it matters, because it's still odd.

It's universal. It's also deeply unhygienic, but people generally don't care.

[ Mikami has never played in a ball pit as a kid and now the experience has no nostalgic value, only the harsh criticism of adulthood... ]

[ raven is inside mcdonald's sipping on her tea when she spots lysithea just...staring...at the ball pit. it's odd. ]

You look like you have something on your mind.

Nothing particularly important, I'm just trying and failing to see the point of this pitfall.

[raventhaw]

It's supposed to be for children. They jump in, throw balls at each other and have a good time.

[ordealia]

...I see. That's certainly something we don't have at home.

[Ango has been doing a lot in the museum and aquarium lately, so it's only natural that he would see Lysithea in there at some point. And when he sees her watching the fish, he can't help but smile a little. That's the look of someone discovering something new, or so he thinks.]

Do you like the aquarium?

I do. It's beautiful. I haven't seen anything like this before.

It is rather nice. Though it makes me wonder if the city has a bigger aquarium in it. The one in Yokohama is large enough to house sharks. It's quite the sight.

[ordealia]

Yokohama? Is that in Poland, too?

[Please forgive her, she's from a Completely Different World]

I'd like to see a place like that.

[YOU KNOW, HE REALLY DOES NEED TO CHECK ON LYSITHEA, ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. At least he manages to find her in the church...]

Lysithea, how are you fairing? Are you... holding up well?

It's been...

[She shakes her head with a bitter laugh.]

...it's been rough, to say the least.

I can imagine.

[He'll go ahead and sit down a comfortable distance away from her, but...]

I am not certain what to say that hasn't already been said, but... if you wish to talk about anything, I will listen.

Wow. I've never seen fish like this before. Not up close, anyway.

[ Shiro's pretty mesmerized by them. He glances to Lysithea, who he's spoken to briefly... but her reaction to the revelation about the experiments had concerned him. ]

They're beautiful.

I haven't, either. They really are beautiful, aren't they?

They are.

[ He gives her a slight smile. ]

Pretty relaxing to just watch them swim around.
