WEEK 2
WEEK 2
The first week is over, and two of your number are gone. Everything related to the case has been cleaned up, with nary a knife left at the Main Square nor a trace of the mud shapes that once painted the clock tower walls, although some stray graffiti still dots some storefronts.
However you may feel about the entire debacle on Friday, there’s no doubt that something has changed about the atmosphere, although whether it’s something tangible or just a trick of the mind is hard to say. Maybe it’s nothing. Either way, there are more palpable changes to the city, with some of the fog retreating away from a few of the surrounding areas, uncovering new buildings and streets along the way. The night, however, remains unchanged as always save for the slow waxing of the moon, leaving it bright and full as early as Thursday night. Regardless of if you take it as an omen or not, at least that means the streets will be lit up fairly well for the week, provided some inconvenient cloud cover doesn’t slide right in.
[[Welcome to Week 2! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 2 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

Investigation
This door seems to be meant to keep the laboratory airtight, the door extends all the way to the frame in such a manner you couldn't pass not even a piece of paper under it. A sign on the door says 'ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL', but it has the museum's logo in a corner, meaning this is not the Lady's doing.
The lock...it's actually a card reader!]

House keys, car keys, mints, money, pens, more money, a small mirror, and like half of the handbags and stuff have containers with stale and moldy food. Have you ever seen such a collection of useless things?
The only thing you find is a rectangular transparent plastic card holder. Looks like the keycard that should be in there isn't around here. Sorry, Dazai]
no subject
Not touching the biohazards in the bags. With that out of the way, he's going to be checking for any couches or seating in this area. Let's see if someone dropped their card around here or between the cushions or chairs ]
no subject
That cardkey doesn't seem to be around here, what may have happened to it?
Oh well. Maybe it's time to check something else. What else were you interested in in the museum, Dazai?]
no subject
Okay time to check out the rest of the museum. He's going remove the sheet from this place. As in, just head to the ice age and tug on a sheet. He's keeping any eye out for any cards that may have been dropped on the ground or wind out in any exhibits. So what's BEHIND CURTAIN NUMBER ONE? ]
no subject
Doesn't seem like there's anything wrong with the exhibit, though, yet it was covered with a sheet. Too bad, it's a great thing to look at.
Why would a perfectly good exhibit be covered, though?]
no subject
Is there information about the exhibit near by? ]
no subject
They also reference something else -- something about other kinds of fossils being found in the same area, fossils that are supposedly on a nearby table. There indeed is a table nearby with a sheet all over it. Take a look?]
no subject
He will go take a look. Grabbing the sheet and pulling it off with a flourish. What's under curtain number two? ]
no subject
All of it looks...painfully normal, for fossils. Huh.
Right over the trilobites there's a an almost imperceptible crack on the fortified glass. There's also something else right beside it. Something very thin and small. Hm?]
no subject
And oooh. Let's first see what that something else beside it is? What's thin and small here? ]
no subject
How about that.]
no subject
He's going to check out that crack in the glass. Is there a way to open the case? A lock some where and a hatch or door? ]
no subject
This is some sturdy glass, if something hit it, it can't have been only once.
There does seem to be some sort of lock -- several locks connecting the glass to the table itself. They look like they work with electricity, possibly the command to make it open being somewhere else. Now that there's no electricity, the locks are stuck on the 'locked' position.
Looks like that's all there's to find in the exhibits, Dazai!]
