EPILOGUE
As the world they've been living in so long quickly dissolves around them, the oppressive air from the Gate fades away from their senses and their vision turns turns completely white. It only takes an instant for their sight to return, but when it does, they'll find themselves in the same dim, dank chamber that they were in a moment before albeit with several main differences: the Gate and the machines that were clustered near it are now gone.
However, you'll only be able to take in this sight for a few seconds before the scenery blurs and suddenly there's the scent of the cool December air brushing past your face, blinding sunlight assaulting the eyes.
It's been six weeks since you've seen anything but the night, so it may take a bit of adjustment before realizing that there's a number of very, very familiar faces before you, as well as one who might not be so recognizable. Either way, one thing is for sure: that long, long Night is over, and it's the start of another Day.
Witamy w Krakowie.
[[Everyone will find themselves in the Main Square. Furthermore, those who had body horror will find that all traces of it are gone!]]

I'm starting to think you don't have the best luck with contractors. But—why a kid? Actually, why Lucrezia? Or even me? There has to be more to it than someone's conviction.

There is. In regards to my young master...he was willing to sacrifice everything to get revenge on those who murdered his family, no price was ever to high until suddenly it was. I spent two years employed in his service, but in the end he gave up when it became too difficult.
Lucrezia...well, it was largely an impulse, given that she was the type of soul I enjoyed eating in my youth. Nowadays, I find them dull and boring even still. As for you... [ Guess who's invading your personal space? This isn't any branch and there's a height difference going on, but he's going to playfully touch Erik's cheek. Or try to, anyway. ]
That's a secret, for now~.

He breathes in and nods. He also reaches up and touches Sebrant's hand and holds it there. ]
A secret, eh? I don't mind not knowing, but I guess you see a little of that same conviction in me. I don't know if you're imagining things or not, but... If you can actually pull this off, then you have no idea what it'll mean to me. [ He gives the guy's hand a squeeze before pulling it away from his cheek. Honestly? Gonna be completely worth the cost. ]
Oh, and when you meet my sister? You might want to knock it off with the roses and the weird touching. I don't think either of us wants to hear her asking what we mean to each other.

He lets his hand drop and blinks, clearing his throat. ]
As I said the other day, you would know if I fancied you, and devils have no use for relationships like humans do regardless. [ Hm maybe he can save this awkward train. Oh and the roses will continue because they remind him of Ciel(?) so too bad, but getting him to admit as much is difficult. ]
What will you be telling her?

Also, helping Mia really does mean everything to him. Having to eventually leave her is... honestly, it breaks his heart. But he needs her back. ]
Don't worry, when it comes to romance you and me share the same boat. Especially now. [ He was never too interested in relationships before but, now? Nah. Though he would be flattered if someone were interested. ]
And I think I'll just tell her the truth—the two of us share an unbreakable bond! As partners-in-crime, of course.

Partners in crime...that may be a new role, even for me. I shall have to change my appearance to match.
