EPILOGUE
As the world they've been living in so long quickly dissolves around them, the oppressive air from the Gate fades away from their senses and their vision turns turns completely white. It only takes an instant for their sight to return, but when it does, they'll find themselves in the same dim, dank chamber that they were in a moment before albeit with several main differences: the Gate and the machines that were clustered near it are now gone.
However, you'll only be able to take in this sight for a few seconds before the scenery blurs and suddenly there's the scent of the cool December air brushing past your face, blinding sunlight assaulting the eyes.
It's been six weeks since you've seen anything but the night, so it may take a bit of adjustment before realizing that there's a number of very, very familiar faces before you, as well as one who might not be so recognizable. Either way, one thing is for sure: that long, long Night is over, and it's the start of another Day.
Witamy w Krakowie.
[[Everyone will find themselves in the Main Square. Furthermore, those who had body horror will find that all traces of it are gone!]]

[Or he'd let him and then they'd both be kind of weirded out.]
I don't blame you for being furious about all of this.
[Well, the Mikami parts, at least.]

...I really didn't mean to worry you. Back in the castle.

[He doesn't even have the energy to argue that he wasn't the one worried. Today has been so long.]
I don't want to lose you, and I hope you'll be more careful from now on.

I won't ask Rembrandt about leaving until everyone knows for sure what we're doing.
[You've got stuff to discuss, he's got Teru Mikami to wrangle, all of that.]

[just repeatedly stab mikami until you've gotten all your anger out, it's fiiiiine]
I appreciate it, though. If I'm right, Dist won't want to return to his home, but I do need to discuss it with him first. I'll be sure to find you again once we've decided.

And thank you for the offer. It... truly does mean quite a bit to me.

[Feelings. Ew.]
But I'll wait, of course. I wouldn't offer if it weren't something I want.
no subject
I know you wouldn't.
[...]
Thank you for helping me out today. I couldn't have done it without you.

[...cumore.]

[sonui coming in clutch again...........]
Oh, speaking of that, continue to keep my power to yourself for just a bit longer, will you? I want to be sure Rideaux never finds out.
[PETTY TO THE BITTER END..........]

I'll be back to find you as soon as I can, then.

Ah, there you are. Thank you for the invitation; Saphir and I will be joining you in Terca Lumireis.
[...]
That's the name he'd prefer to use now.
[it isn't some disgustingly sappy pet name, okay]

[...Anyway...]
Teru Mikami is also coming with us. He didn't warrant a stabbing.
no subject
[sigh!!!!! we could have had lawzard ending.......]
I suppose I'm pleased to hear that, though. As long as he doesn't get too annoying.

Teru Mikami is becoming a lot more fun nowadays.

[iago be nice, goddamn]
I'm certainly looking forward to what the two of you do.

[...Anyway.]
I am glad you're coming with us, you know.

[There are quite a few reasons for that, but ultimately it comes down to not wanting to leave Cumore behind. Saphir's coming with him regardless, of course, but remaining near Cumore is... comforting, maybe.
Not that he's ever going to voice that thought.]
This means I get to continue meddling. I hope you're prepared.
[definitely not anything as dumb as sentimentality!!!! it's just because he's a pain!!!!]
