WELCOME

EPILOGUE

As the world they've been living in so long quickly dissolves around them, the oppressive air from the Gate fades away from their senses and their vision turns turns completely white. It only takes an instant for their sight to return, but when it does, they'll find themselves in the same dim, dank chamber that they were in a moment before albeit with several main differences: the Gate and the machines that were clustered near it are now gone.

However, you'll only be able to take in this sight for a few seconds before the scenery blurs and suddenly there's the scent of the cool December air brushing past your face, blinding sunlight assaulting the eyes.

It's been six weeks since you've seen anything but the night, so it may take a bit of adjustment before realizing that there's a number of very, very familiar faces before you, as well as one who might not be so recognizable. Either way, one thing is for sure: that long, long Night is over, and it's the start of another Day.

Witamy w Krakowie.

[[Everyone will find themselves in the Main Square. Furthermore, those who had body horror will find that all traces of it are gone!]]

[ There is a lot to unpack with 'you're even beating me' and Mikami supposes he has to ask who Iago killed one of those days. Hopefully they were acceptable people to kill because telling Cumore to cut ties with Iago is absolutely a lost cause. Ah... what has he gotten himself into?

But somehow, it is a little relieving to have all of this out in the open. ]

It certainly doesn't matter. The method by which it was done is unavailable to me now and my memory of it all is erased.

[ He just wanted to say it because he wanted to see the reaction. ]

That said, I object to being called a serial killer. It was divine judgement passed on through me.

[great minds think alike and so do blatantly evil sadistic ones!! also what the fuck mikami, don't you start with that too!!!!!]

Oh, of course. I'm fairly sure Garon thought the same thing, given he was always praying to his god.

[whoever the fuck anankos is, surely that's not important.]

But I won't call you a serial killer again. I'm willing to play nice.

[...you can practically hear the "for now" on the end of that.]

[ Mikami doesn't know anything about Garon, but being compared to him is already not flattering. This whole God conversation is one that they also need to have, but... well, he is going to need to observe Terca Lumireis. Understand how divinity works across universes. That's a little scary as a prospect, but there is just so much he never factored into his ideas before... ]

Good. Though there is nothing 'nice' about simply adhering to the facts.

[ ........ yeah. ]

You're cute.

[oh my god, apologies to teru mikami once more.]

I look forward to learning more about you, Teru Mikami. Our lives in Terca Lumireis are certainly going to be interesting.

[at least it doesn't sound like a threat???]

[ He is really afraid that this whole obsession with cuteness is going to rub off on him. He's thought it about Cumore once, now he knows he isn't entirely safe from this ridiculous assessment scale. Curse those contagious midbosses! ]

Unfortunately, yes.

[ He wants all of this but he's going to keep being mean about it, for his self-image. ]

Here's to acceptable cooperation.
