EPILOGUE
As the world they've been living in so long quickly dissolves around them, the oppressive air from the Gate fades away from their senses and their vision turns turns completely white. It only takes an instant for their sight to return, but when it does, they'll find themselves in the same dim, dank chamber that they were in a moment before albeit with several main differences: the Gate and the machines that were clustered near it are now gone.
However, you'll only be able to take in this sight for a few seconds before the scenery blurs and suddenly there's the scent of the cool December air brushing past your face, blinding sunlight assaulting the eyes.
It's been six weeks since you've seen anything but the night, so it may take a bit of adjustment before realizing that there's a number of very, very familiar faces before you, as well as one who might not be so recognizable. Either way, one thing is for sure: that long, long Night is over, and it's the start of another Day.
Witamy w Krakowie.
[[Everyone will find themselves in the Main Square. Furthermore, those who had body horror will find that all traces of it are gone!]]

[he's already been having nightmares!! so this isn't helping!!!!!]
But more importantly, if you're showing up where I am, then that's a sign someone's set up a contract with you, and I'm going to have to kill them.
[...he's going home with cumore, mikami, and dist, so it better not happen!!!]
no subject
[ He hums. ]
Normally I'm not so keen on getting my master's killed, you know.

[can't wait for antumbra 2: erik's wild ride]
I'm not complaining, though. I wanted her dead, and you assisted with that in what ways you could.
no subject
I imagine most people did, but you have my thanks for acting as swiftly as you did. Had she been creative she would have been able to give me orders through non-verbal means, but in the end her arrogance was her demise.
no subject
I always knew it would be. I am lucky the others were quick to react, however. There wasn't much I could do from my position.
[Like, yeah, he had a gun, but he only had a single day of lessons with Dazai and he wasn't going to risk trying to shoot her while Rean and Raven were in her face?? So he formed the plan, Cumore set it off, and they relied on everyone else to do the work for them. What else were you expecting, though??]

I am, yes. I do intend to learn more about Illusio and see what I can do with it. It's different enough that it may prove useful with my magic.
[he's going to be able to turn himself invisible on top of all of his other really broken magic and that's HORRIFYING, why did you allow this!!!!!]
Oh, and if Rideaux asks, maybe you'll consider being kind and refuse to tell him what my power is.
[he is still just this petty]
no subject
I didn't think anyone would call me kind after the events that transpired here. [ His grin is very pointy, much like it was when he was a horror show. ]
But as you may have noticed, I only do what interests me. Unless I am ordered otherwise, of course.

After all, who would I be without spite and arrogance?
[That's it, that's Iago.]
no subject
Of course. Incidentally, he has asked me about you before and bartered with me for what exactly lies behind your mask.
no subject
[HEY WHAT THE FUCK, RIDEAUX???????]
no subject
It was valuable information, you understand. If it matters, he was even willing to sleep with me to find out the truth.
no subject
He was willing to sleep with you to find out what's under my mask.
[...............this might as well happen.]
What did you tell him. Exactly.
no subject
Exactly what is under there, of course. Absolutely nothing at all!
no subject
You're horrible. Absolutely dreadful. Please tell me he looked supremely disappointed with that answer.

no subject
I'm glad to hear it! If my secrets must be exposed, then at least he would find it unsatisfactory!
[almost a shame rideaux didn't sleep with you for that info tbh]

Hiding things does make people curious—your play with your mark is similar to how Lucrezia hid the true motive of this behind orchestrated murders.

[Like on the one hand, Ango probably feels like total shit and he deserves that! On the other, Dist died for no goddamn reason. So thanks, he hates it.]
no subject
It really is farewell then, unless Teru Mikami changes his mind down the road.
no subject
[He's smiling when he says it, but he's deadly serious.]
Nothing personal, of course. I simply don't want any of my plans to be interrupted.
[Just because the interruption changed his life in a good way this time doesn't mean it'd be good next time!!]
no subject
Best of luck then, you'll need it. [ He isn't even saying this to be really offensive but have you seen the four of you, it's gonna be a giant mess. ]
no subject
Three of us survived this game and Dist only died because that bastard specifically targeted him and eliminated his chance to fight back. Luck has nothing to do with it.
I told her not to underestimate me. Don't you start now, Devil.
[he overcame his shitty luck stat in this game and this is how you're gonna be smh!!!
But no, in some way he does appreciate it, as absolutely strange as that idea is. Rembrandt wouldn't offer it at all if he didn't want to, after all.]
