WEEK 6

Five weeks. It's been five weeks, and twenty-seven has now dwindled down to eleven. And while only two passed this week, this trial may have been the most devastating in its own way, as threads of patience frayed and fragments of trust fractured. Nevertheless, if The Lady is to be believed, that may very well have been the final set of sacrifices that she was waiting for, so perhaps the end is in sight.

Of course, the fact that everyone is still stuck in Krakow means that it's not over yet, and who even knows what's happening over in the Twilight?

And so, some more changes are in store for this week, even if it may not be the same ones that you've gotten used to. For one thing, the fog stays put and no new areas of the city are revealed under the light of the lampposts. Secondly, The Lady is nowhere to be found in the city, with her bookstore office vacated and abandoned with nary a trace as to where she went. And third, the clock tower will no longer operate, which-- well. Actually that's not new at all, but it certainly may make it difficult to keep up with the facade of passing days. At least the moon still serves as a reminder of that, gibbous phase waxing into something fuller over the course of the week even if the color looks a bit off.

It may not be a fresh new start, but it's not time to give up yet, is it? After all, you are all Survivors.

[ Well, there's no motive announcement in the middle of the day today, so you know what, Rideaux's just going to take that extra time to go the spa now that that's a thing and the power's on. He's earned this.

If you're also checking out this exciting new location today, you can find him relaxing in a hot tub with his hair piled up in a bun and a towel around his shoulders. (He's also got several very deep scars on his chest and abdomen, actually, but they're mostly underwater, and is anyone really going to be paying that much attention.) Let's keep it quiet in here, please.

Later on, now that he's as refreshed as he's going to get, he'll go to the laundromat for what will probably be his last load of laundry here, which is kind of weird to think about. Anyway, while he's waiting for clean pants, he'll actually take a closer look around the place this time. It wasn't on the investigation list, and he probably isn't going to find anything but missing socks, but what the hell, he's here already.

Are there any machines that stand out at all from the others? ]

[There's nothing that stands out in the laundromat, beyond the owner really seeming to like stocking Tide Pods for whatever reason. There's nothing strange about any of the machines either, and there isn't any mysteriously displaced laundry (unless one of the other Survivors left something), so Rideaux is free to just chill for the rest of his wait.]
