WEEK 6
WEEK 6
Five weeks. It's been five weeks, and twenty-seven has now dwindled down to eleven. And while only two passed this week, this trial may have been the most devastating in its own way, as threads of patience frayed and fragments of trust fractured. Nevertheless, if The Lady is to be believed, that may very well have been the final set of sacrifices that she was waiting for, so perhaps the end is in sight.
Of course, the fact that everyone is still stuck in Krakow means that it's not over yet, and who even knows what's happening over in the Twilight?
And so, some more changes are in store for this week, even if it may not be the same ones that you've gotten used to. For one thing, the fog stays put and no new areas of the city are revealed under the light of the lampposts. Secondly, The Lady is nowhere to be found in the city, with her bookstore office vacated and abandoned with nary a trace as to where she went. And third, the clock tower will no longer operate, which-- well. Actually that's not new at all, but it certainly may make it difficult to keep up with the facade of passing days. At least the moon still serves as a reminder of that, gibbous phase waxing into something fuller over the course of the week even if the color looks a bit off.
It may not be a fresh new start, but it's not time to give up yet, is it? After all, you are all Survivors.
[[Welcome to Week 6! Note that there are no new locations this week, but feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. As alluded above, The Lady will be unavailable, while Rembrandt will still be around on Monday and Tuesday before disappearing for the rest of the week.]]

investigation- boutique;
Everyone, I will be holding our next meeting in the Hotel Restaurant. Please be sure to come so we can share our findings with everyone.
The meeting will be at 12:30PM on Wednesday, as usual. I'll also be bringing refreshments and food.
Let's do our best together to defeat the Lady once and for all.
- Rean Schwarzer
[ After nabbing himself some breakfast, Rean was going to do a walk around the city before heading to the boutique first and...he's going to be there awhile, investigating the clothing. Looking for anything weird or off about them to start with.
Though, towards the evening, he could be caught in the clergy house kitchen, making some dinner before bed as well. ]
walking around
Are you patrolling?

As always, Rean was in his clothing from home. He hardly wore anything else except when he was washing his home clothes. ]
Yeah...it's such an ingrained habit that I feel strange not doing it.
no subject
I'll keep you company then.
[ Might help put him at ease since they no longer both have walkie talkies. ]
Want to do something tonight?
no subject
What do you have in mind?
[ Rean seemed interested in the idea, though. It could be nice to have a little break, since the other seemed to have nice ideas for relaxation. Whether or not he'd be able to relax was another thing entirely, but the thought counted, right? ]
no subject
I'm keeping it a secret for now. I'll find you after dinner.
[ How much does he trust Dazai with making plans? ]
no subject
Like I'm sorry Dazai but you are not a very trustable person right now. ]
You know, if it's something strange I have every right to change my mind.
no subject
[ Don't make that face cause it makes him want to mess with you, Rean ]
no subject
Alright. I'll trust in that for now.
[ He looked thoughtful for a moment, though... ]
Maybe before that happens we could go and check out the spa to see if it works like one?
no subject
We can~ If no one else is there, I can lose the bandages.
[ It's just one of those... there may be looks, questions, or Rideaux salt if those scars are out in view. ]
no subject
Let's make sure no one else is there before leaping right in.
[ Rean would not want Dazai jumping in with the bandages, smh. But there they go, on their way to the spa. ]
no subject
If someone is there, we can always go back late at night.
[ After the arcade.
He'll let Rean lead the way. To the spa /o/ He will fill the air with chatter about how he's eaten six or so cans of crab meat in one sitting before and how much he misses crab. ]
no subject
[ Dazai please. Rean thought about making crab since Dazai was talking about, but there was no crab anenomemore, so that would have to wait until everything went well.
And now they're at the spa! Since it's relatively early in the day, there seemed to be no one there at least?? ]
It looks like it's just us for now. I think now's a good time to take advantage of this.
my words getting smaller and smaller
He's snagging a couple of towels and fluffy robes to offer Rean one of each. ]
It would be a shame to let this opportunity pass.
[ Hot
springstub episode. Time to get out of all the clothes and bandages. ]squishes pan
...Haha, I guess so. It's not something I get a chance to do often.
[ Rean will take them carefully.
And yeah, time to shift out of clothing now before putting on a towel around the waist for now. He was going to head for the hottub. He made sure the robes were nearby for when he was ready for them. ]

We really should thank our Twilight friends for the power.
[ And the key. It's pretty nice in there. Settling down in a spot and leaning back. ]

The rumors might be true. Every Night can be ended by closing the
[...Yeah, it just cuts off there.]
no subject
But it's actually interesting enough that he wondered if someone out there might have another piece to this sentence.
That being said, he'll slowly and painstakingly sift through the clothing to see if there were other messages etched into the rest here. He didn't want to miss anything, after all. ]
