WEEK 6

WEEK 6

Five weeks. It's been five weeks, and twenty-seven has now dwindled down to eleven. And while only two passed this week, this trial may have been the most devastating in its own way, as threads of patience frayed and fragments of trust fractured. Nevertheless, if The Lady is to be believed, that may very well have been the final set of sacrifices that she was waiting for, so perhaps the end is in sight.

Of course, the fact that everyone is still stuck in Krakow means that it's not over yet, and who even knows what's happening over in the Twilight?

And so, some more changes are in store for this week, even if it may not be the same ones that you've gotten used to. For one thing, the fog stays put and no new areas of the city are revealed under the light of the lampposts. Secondly, The Lady is nowhere to be found in the city, with her bookstore office vacated and abandoned with nary a trace as to where she went. And third, the clock tower will no longer operate, which-- well. Actually that's not new at all, but it certainly may make it difficult to keep up with the facade of passing days. At least the moon still serves as a reminder of that, gibbous phase waxing into something fuller over the course of the week even if the color looks a bit off.

It may not be a fresh new start, but it's not time to give up yet, is it? After all, you are all Survivors.

[[Welcome to Week 6! Note that there are no new locations this week, but feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. As alluded above, The Lady will be unavailable, while Rembrandt will still be around on Monday and Tuesday before disappearing for the rest of the week.]]

[I mean...it could be worse. The fog is already ensuring his hair is less than great...

Anyway.

He's not a botanist or anything, but he's actually really well-traveled and a lot of the plant life in Terca Lumireis is similar to earth species, if not the same. He isn't familiar with desert species because he refuses to go out to the Sands of Kogorh or the ruins at Yormgen or Mt Temza, but other than that it depends on what's in here, he might be able to take a bash at it.]
drydrown: those shoes with that dress though (EHHH ♡ now wait just a minute)

[Just to clarify, stuff like hemlock and belladonnas/nightshades? Because those are a definite yes.]

[For reference, he's also wearing something from the opera house today so he's not just wandering around here like TITS OUT FOR THE TWILIGHT, and he's got gloves on because he pretty much always does. So even if he does happen to connect with anything, it shouldn't hit him too badly.

That said, he is definitely not putting anything from this area in his face because it does not look good for consumption, and he'll tie his hair back so it won't snag on anything because that sounds like a bad time. Okay. There is some poisonous shit in here. Good to know.

Does all of it seem to be there, or are there things conspicuously missing? Is this place as well-kept as the other greenhouse? More/less?]

[...Huh. Genuine roses, and not something that's superficially similar? That's...odd.]

Is there anything else that's off about then, other than the fact that they're here? Because he'll go take a closer look at them either way.]

[...Hm. Well, they are pretty... Perhaps he'll come back for some of them later.

Okay. So we've got roses, and we've got a fucking poison emporium in here. Since he's already checking out the roses, he'll verify that they're all intact - none of them seem crushed or like they've been moved around, no...I don't know, signs the thorns have gored anyone recently - before getting up and going to check out the poisonous things and seeing if there's anything immediately amiss over there.]

[...Well, that means he also has no fucking clue what he's looking at by the labels alone, goodness. At least he recognizes enough...

Okay. How are these all arranged, incidentally? Planters, tables, into the ground, something else...?]

[So we just need to have our final throwdown in here and hope one of the tremors we're having knocks the Lady into a bush. Flawless plan.

...That said, he's going to make use of this place later, if only to coat weaponry and makeshift ammunition in some hilariously toxic shit. Until then, however - is there anything else he should be looking at? Nothing obvious he's missing, correct?]
