WEEK 6
WEEK 6
Five weeks. It's been five weeks, and twenty-seven has now dwindled down to eleven. And while only two passed this week, this trial may have been the most devastating in its own way, as threads of patience frayed and fragments of trust fractured. Nevertheless, if The Lady is to be believed, that may very well have been the final set of sacrifices that she was waiting for, so perhaps the end is in sight.
Of course, the fact that everyone is still stuck in Krakow means that it's not over yet, and who even knows what's happening over in the Twilight?
And so, some more changes are in store for this week, even if it may not be the same ones that you've gotten used to. For one thing, the fog stays put and no new areas of the city are revealed under the light of the lampposts. Secondly, The Lady is nowhere to be found in the city, with her bookstore office vacated and abandoned with nary a trace as to where she went. And third, the clock tower will no longer operate, which-- well. Actually that's not new at all, but it certainly may make it difficult to keep up with the facade of passing days. At least the moon still serves as a reminder of that, gibbous phase waxing into something fuller over the course of the week even if the color looks a bit off.
It may not be a fresh new start, but it's not time to give up yet, is it? After all, you are all Survivors.
[[Welcome to Week 6! Note that there are no new locations this week, but feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. As alluded above, The Lady will be unavailable, while Rembrandt will still be around on Monday and Tuesday before disappearing for the rest of the week.]]

He listens carefully before nodding. ]
I wouldn't discount the possibility things have been overlooked. We still need to check out the hotel, just need to get around the traps. We'll hit what we can and report back to you guys as soon as we have results.
How much longer do you think until you guys head to Day?

Spare us your bumbling. We've already found a route into the hotel, which should be communicated if that fool at the front has any ability to relay information.
[It seems he's just here to dunk on Shin. The graveyard sure is a friendly bunch.]
The key to her plans may lie in the lamps: they are filled with what seems to be spiritual energy. All of them. If what that woman needed was spiritual power, then she already had enough of it simply lighting up the city; her aim for her "Survivors" must be something else. [there's something exasperated in his voice, like, which part of all of this was even necessary] I'm unsure of the rate at which this dimension is destabilizing, but it should be a matter of days.
[This is probably why you guys got an entire-ass quest list today. Time to grind, survivor pool.]

True true. I do wonder what'll happen if we tap into the electrical source ourselves or just unscrew all the lights.
[ What if they waste electricity? ]
I'll spare you the pondering if you prefer. We'll see what we can find out here. We might not be able to figure her plans for us until she's ready. She put on a show earlier before vanishing to whatever hole she crawled out of.

[He makes it kind of clear that Dazai's off-the-cuff answer of unscrewing all the lights is kind of. Probably not it? Who knows, though. Run wild and free; Ulquiorra is more-or-less washing his hands of it.]
Though I would take precautions with allowing those who have been modified by the hints and the manifestations to contact them directly.
[So, y'know......... Seteth and the lamp post are friends now but.]
She's careless, or merely arrogant. The traces of her experiments and evidence of her presence is strewn all across the Night and Twilight.

I'll be sure to pass it on to those related.
[ Look, sometimes lizards like lights. Gotta stay warm. ]
I'm sure it's both. In her arrogance, she has become careless.
[ And now to be a gremlin... ]
If I want to talk to you again, should I ask over the walkie-talkie?

And if she is careless enough, there is little reason to wait until she is ready.
[So like, despite everything he's still judging the waiting game?? But to be fair driveby judging is probably all he's going to bother doing. Also, why is he surrounded in gremlins, who allowed this in this game.]
The walkie-talkies are the easiest means of communication. You may reach any in the Twilight, I suppose.
[But why would you want to talk to him again.]
no subject
I'll see if I can get it back from Iago. If not, I'm sure I can use the one I handed Rean.
[ Might not be last thread. ]
What is it like over there in Twilight?

Our resources are much less limited this time, but we should still use them efficiently.
[Which means he's probably also disapproving of their auto shop ghost storyteller, but y'know what. This is just graveyard life. Also were you asking for a perfectly clinical report because:]
Krakow in Twilight is much the same. It is a separate dimension spatially and temporally, possibly located at an earlier time in that woman's stay here.
