[ There probably isn't a single person among them who isn't exhausted after that trial, so it's no surprise that, like last week, there's no party when it's over. Maybe some stay out and mill about the city, while others finally take the chance to get some well-deserved sleep.

Personally, Rideaux is absolutely going to bed now, because it's fucking 10 am or something, and that was a lot.

But when he wakes up again in what is nominally the afternoon, once he's taken a shower and no longer looks like a haggard mess, he's actually going to hole up in the kitchen at the clergy housing and make some pancakes. Just pancakes and nothing else, because this mix is "just add water!" and that's the extent of his cooking skills the most effort he's going to put into anything. Some of them may be slightly burned and oddly shaped, but they're free, so shut it.

There's also some coffee and some (cheap, not his good stuff) whiskey, so if you want to make a half-assed Irish coffee, he's not stopping you.

Is this supposed to be a distraction? Is this actually all just to celebrate the fact that Cumore briefly thought he was going to die and that was delicious to watch? Maybe, but no one has to know that. ]

I figured it would be you or Seteth.

[ Checking up on him. Giving a nod. ]

Go ahead and sit down. I'm just killing time for a bit.

[ He chuckles briefly before taking a seat next to him. ]

Asking how you're doing seems a bit unnecessary, but I'll ask it anyway--and if you'd rather have a distraction more than anything.

[ Placing his elbow on his knee as he plants his chin in his hand. Let's skip over the first question... ]

[ Yeah, he guessed as much. He's worried--of course he is--but he also really doesn't want to push Dazai. Especially not so soon. ]

Yeah. Keith, Allura, Pidge, Hunk, and Lance. Most of us are from Earth, but Allura... she's an alien princess.

If it weren't for her, we'd never have formed Voltron in the first place.

Does she look anything like aliens from movies or video games?

[ He shakes his head, though. ]

Not at all. Alteans look just like humans--aside from the marks on their cheeks [ he gestures just below his eyes ] and their pointed ears.

There are plenty of non-humanoid aliens, though.

[ He won't say he also just likes seeing Shiro around. He might have a crush on Rean, but Shiro is nice to enjoy.

Wow maybe he shares Lady's taste in men. ]

What's the strangest you've seen?

[ He has to think about that for a moment. ]

Probably the Taujeerians--they sort of resemble large grubs. They have no faces, but they do have a large... [ hmm. ] Opening? Eye? That flashes when they speak.

If I had a bit of paper I could draw one of them and show it to you for a better visual.

[ As much as he doesn't care about if it would be right to sacrifice some of Dist's notes for the alien drawing cause, he does have plans on handing them over to Iago eventually.

Picking up notebook and black box up before giving a nod. ]

[ He stands, too; even if Dazai had brought it up he wouldn't have done it. And maybe he can grab the thing Ango had told him about, too. ]

[ They could make a stop at Ango's room because Dazai can break in, but he'll have to say something first.

Just going to lead the way to his room. He left the door unlocked since he's sure no one would mess with it while they were down the hall. ]

Here it is.

[ It's missing one desk and there's twelve mattresses in here. It's four of them across the floor with two more stacked on each.

Dazai is placing the box down on a chair in the corner next to the door... which has a dragon mascot sitting next to it.]

[ Oh my god. That's so many mattresses.

Still, he glances around... and his eyes fall on the dragon mascot. ]

Interesting decor.

I was going to prank Ango with it, but he totally saw through it.

[ They also didn't get back to sleep after that considering... investigation and trial.

He's opening up his closet. There seems to be a couple of buckets... one has flour in it and the other seems to have keys, tools, and rope. He will pull out a note book and a pencil to offer up to Shiro. ]

[ Ah... he lets that lay where it is, because he knows what it's like to lose someone so close to you. Maybe it's not exactly the same, Adam hadn't died, but... ]

[ And he'll take those! Before hesitating a moment. ]

There was also something Ango had in his room. Would you mind taking me there?

[ If only you knew, Shiro. If only you knew... ]

Yeah, I can do that. Did he leave a love confession in there?

[ He's now curious because it has to be juicy. He'll wave him along and head out of his room to head down to Ango's room. ]

[ yeah adam's like super dead at this point.......... welp. ]

Hah, well, maybe. I'm not entirely sure.

[ He'll follow him yet again! ]

[ He's thinking about it for a moment or two. ]

Did he ask you to grab the envelope Lady gave out during the motive?

[ It's the only thing that makes sense. Once he's at Ango's room, he'll pull out the hairpins. It takes a little fiddling before he gets it opened. Ta-da.

He's going to pause as soon as he gets it opened. All the rooms look the same, but he's spent quite a bit of time bothering Ango in this room in particular. ]

[The room is exactly as Ango had left it. A couple notebooks on the desk, glowsticks and his gacha items scattered around the room.

The envelope is actually in the desk too, if Shiro wants to grab it.]

[ He doesn't mess with anything, at least; even being in the room feels... hm. Well.

He'll cross to the desk and grab it, then pocket it. ]

... Yeah. He did.

[ He, at least, doesn't look away from Dazai when he says it. He should know that much, at least, until the right time. ]

[ It's a moment longer before he looks at Shiro. ]

Haha. It would waste his efforts if I saw it...

[ And he honestly doesn't know how to feel about that. The petty side, that's mad Ango left him in the first place wants to look to see. But also doesn't want to know what was worth dying over.

Walking over to Ango's desk to grab the glow sticks. ]
