After Trial Mingle

[ Seems like everyone is either hiding from any blood bending, wanting to take the time to think, or just doing their on thing after a trial as long as that one is. So here's a general mingle for after the trial or the rest of the weekend. ]

Fuck off, he deserves this. ]

Fuck it, he's knocking.]
Rideaux, please open up.

Hello~ I'm here for my order of whiskey.
[ Let him in ]

But okay okay. Time to break in. He's just going to pick the lock. doo de doo ]

But then he hears the sound of that lock, so apparently his day is just going to continue to be shit. Great. ]
Fucking--
[ He swears under his breath and slams his glass down, then gets up and grabs a bottle of the most expensive whiskey native to the bar (i.e. not his actual Really Good Stuff). ]
If I give this to you, will you leave?
no subject
Hand me two bottle, then I'll be out of your hair.

[ He grabs a second one and comes back to the door, setting it down on the floor out of the way for the moment so that he's not trying to awkwardly hold onto two large glass bottles while also opening a door (but making sure it isn't too open).
He opens it just enough to shove the first bottle at Dazai before making a move to pick up the second. ]
Here.

she knocks. ]
Rideaux. It's Raven.

By this point we'll assume Dazai has already come and hopefully gone, so Rideaux is a little less committed to keeping the place locked by now, and won't try to rush her inside or anything. ]
To what do I owe the pleasure?
[ It's probably the same line he would have used if she'd come to visit him under any other circumstance, but the delivery is dry, and there's no smarmy smile to accompany it. He just looks tired, honestly. ]

It was foolish of the others to think it was you. [ ... ] My vote went to Ulquiorra, for the record. And Ignis.
no subject
He closes the door again behind them -- but doesn't bother locking it this time -- and returns to his seat, where his coat is thrown over the back of the chair. He picks his drink back up, and looks over at her when she speaks.
He's glad to hear it, actually; he hadn't really expected any less of her, but it's also in his nature to assume everyone is going to turn against him when the cards are down, so he'd still had doubts. ]
Well, I did always think you had better sense than most of the others.
no subject
Let's say you did kill Ignis. Why waste a vote on someone who's actually helpful than someone who's more of a liability? Say, Ulquiorra, who was arguably the better choice.

If he had his tools, this wouldn't be a problem!! But as is, he temporarily stops his knob jostling and just knocks on the door. ] Ever heard of a little thing called "sharing"?
[ He's not even here to drink, ftr. He was honestly just wandering around looking for Shiro and is staying 'cause the door was locked. ]
no subject
You're welcome to place a to-go order.
no subject
I could, but that seems like more work for you.
no subject
And yet no more tiresome than this conversation.
[ Though as soon as he says that, he kind of frowns, because fucking Julius.
Whatever. ]
no subject
You've got me there. Though I'd call it "cumbersome" more than "tiresome," mainly 'cause of the door.
[ Knocking on lightly it with his knuckles. ]

Rideaux?

Ugh. Ango isn't someone he really minds at all in general, and he had given him a decent enough apology already during the trial. But honestly, he's still pretty pissed about his role in everything. Which he thinks is actually pretty fair for someone who was almost executed for a crime he didn't commit because someone misinterpreted evidence and thought he was stupid enough to write down his own murder details!! ]
Your friend already picked up two bottles. If he didn't share, that's not my problem.
[ Still spoken through the door. ]
no subject
[Speaking through the door is something they can do, so long as Rideaux is listening.]
I was going to ask if you needed food or anything during your seclusion in there. I can understand why you might not want to come out, so if you needed anything from somewhere else I was going to offer to bring it to you.
no subject
That's very thoughtful and everything, but it's not like I'm barricading myself in here. If I want food I can go and get it myself; I'd just prefer not to be bothered as long as I'm here.
