And the clock ticks down to the end of another week. While the days were no less eventful, the tone set by last Thursday wasn't matched in the same way this time, so perhaps that's a source of relief for some. Looking at it another way though, maybe it was nothing more than the calm before the storm; after all, every Friday has been nothing but bodies upon bodies in some way or another.

So maybe that's why it may be unsurprising to smell something acrid and burnt on the autumn breeze that sweeps through the streets. The bell tolls eight. Time to get investigating.

[ Yeah, they do.

Alright, let's try to lean over to check out what he can like this. First he's going to check out Ignis' hand (right). Is there anything there? Also how stuck is he? Would they be able to get the body out or will they need something to cut away the control panel? ]

[While Dazai is checking the body, Dist's voice can be heard from the outside.]

Dazai, I am ready to come in!

[...he's so glad Dazai is already inside to not witness him having way too much difficulty climbing up to the door. He usually has a chair to float up to higher places?!

Getting a better look inside...oh, wow. He didn't think Ignis would've gotten straight-up impaled.]

Is there anything I should avoid coming in?

[ Looking up at Dist and just going to stretch up his hands up to him. ]

There's a smear of blood inside of the railing, so careful of that. Want me to catch you?

[ortion]

All righ-- [wait that was to the first part] I am perfectly capable of getting in myself.

[He says this, but as he starts to lower himself in, he stumbles and...yeah he might need some minor catching.]

Time to catch the noodle. Mostly to make sure he doesn't land on Ignis or all of that glass and chunks of metal. ]

Careful~ We don't need even more blood in here.

[RIP his dignity.

He looks away in an attempt to hide the obvious embarrassment on his face.]

[For what it's worth, there won't be more klutziness for the time being. Climbing back out might another matter...]

[Psst, those weird daggers stuck on the front side of the carriage seem like the kind of thing to avoid. There are a couple of them, stuck onto the inside of the front of the driver's area. You're unlikely to step on them, but they're still something to avoid if you get over there!]

[Thankfully he doesn't fuckin' fall onto them, wow.

By in the front, does this mean around the control panel itself?]

[Yup, in that general area! That's correct! One is stuck there on the control panel, another is just on the floor. There may even be a third one, stuck deep into the wrecked front of the tram. Who knows how many of those daggers are around]

[How odd...

Do any of the ones they can find look bloody? And does the one in the control panel look like it may have interfered with the tram's operation?]

[None of the daggers Dist finds has any blood on them!

Also, although there are daggers all over the front of the tram, none of them seem to have interfered with the tram's operation. Not even those that are stuck right on the control panel itself seem to have reached the many wires and mechanisms inside]

So this is just apparently a case of OOPS, ALL DAGGERS. All right then.

Dist is also going to make a note of the acceleration pedal as he goes over the control panel area with Dazai. Is there anything else going on with the panel apart from the portion inside Ignis' chest?]

[Aside from it probably being super messed up and making it difficult to repair the tram? Not really!]

[Ignis is in the midst of rigor mortis right now, so honestly he's going to be a bit difficult to move, but since his right hand is just kind of flopped across his stomach, his knuckle should at least be somewhat visible from this angle; it's scraped up rather heavily and while there is some dried blood there, it's not much.

As far as how stuck he is, there is definitely enough space to actually pull his body back off the metal; a large reason why the impalement went so far is more because his body was basically bending forward towards the control panel.

Does Dazai want to do that now or check out some other things that look a bit off in the tram?]

[ Let's look to see what things look off in the tram first before messing it all up.

He did play around and studied that manual before. And Dist is now here in his arms or whatever to probably help point out anything weird. What's up? ]

[There are a couple of things to note. As Dazai was moving to check out Ignis' body closer, he may have noticed the faint scent of blood coming from the headrest. Second, considering he looked at the manual before, he would know that the tram's acceleration pedal at the foot of the seat is broken.]

[ ... did someone knock ignis out, break the acceleration pedal, and then like let him nyoom like what happened in V for Vendetta (minus explosions)

And with Dist checking out the rest of the panel, he will now pull Ignis' body back to get him un-impaled. ]

[It is a mystery.

And Ignis is successfully unimpaled! Thankfully it's a pretty clean removal since there's not much in the way of blood that will come out aside from some stray dribbles, although he'll be staying kind of in his hunched over position for a while yet because ty rigor mortis. What does Dazai want to do next?]

[ Let's try to get him out of there.

okay what is the state of the front windshield? Also how does everything look around it? He doesn't want to damage any evidence before breaking ti after all. ]

[Gl with that Dazai, because Ignis is kind of... unwieldy right now, to say the least.

The front windshield is cracked but not completely shattered. Interestingly enough, there isn't really that much blood on it either; there are some flecks and some splatter like what was mentioned before, but there's no focal point for the blood, so to speak. The control panel is also duly wrecked enough already, and it's plain to see that it would be pretty hard to get the tram operational again at this point. There's nothing else of note, beyond that.]

[ Okay, not much blood again. Let's check the head rest to see how much blood is there as well as Ignis' clothes real quick. Looking to see how much blood may have soaked into his new clothes.

Aimed at Dist: ] Are we good to break the windshield yet or have you found something?

[The headrest has a smear of blood, but not that much beyond that.

As for his clothes, there's definitely a lot more blood in the front (and a lot more injuries like cuts and lacerations, which kind of end up shredding his clothes actually, rip them) and there's a good amount by his chest where he was impaled. However, looking at the back of his clothes shows just a small amount of it around the hole where the metal exited his back.]

[ Okay, one more thing before he messes up the crime scene...

Does the amount of blood in here (clothes + tram interior) seem like it's less blood than it should be? ]

[It might be hard to say unless Dazai's used to observing the effects of motor vehicle accidents, but at the least there's like... no huge pools of blood or anything around either.]

[ He's used to observing the effects of accidents. When you're an executive of the port mafia, you have to check out a lot of crime scenes involving your underlings to rule out anything hinky like a murder.

Trying to see if there was blood loss prior to being put in here basically. ]
