And the clock ticks down to the end of another week. While the days were no less eventful, the tone set by last Thursday wasn't matched in the same way this time, so perhaps that's a source of relief for some. Looking at it another way though, maybe it was nothing more than the calm before the storm; after all, every Friday has been nothing but bodies upon bodies in some way or another.

So maybe that's why it may be unsurprising to smell something acrid and burnt on the autumn breeze that sweeps through the streets. The bell tolls eight. Time to get investigating.

[The burnt smell isn't actually all that strong, and it's definitely something that only comes by when the breeze comes by so it's too inconsistent to actually follow right now. Is he going in any particular direction?]

[The main square is actually fine! The smell isn't super strong and definitely not close enough to indicate that someone or something is on fire in the immediate vicinity, so this might require a little legwork.]

[The museum is...! Not on fire. And while the burnt smell wasn't super strong to begin with, it's pretty much not detectable around where the museum is.]

[McDonald's and the ball pit have not been ruined for everyone, thankfully!! Also, Shiro pretty much won't be able to smell any traces of burning where he is, so maybe that's an indication of something.]

[It's time to get down to brass tacks. With renewed enthusiasm, Zangetsu makes a beeline for the arcade.]

[Well, that's one way to get to the point. He may meet up with Seteth on the way there depending on what direction he's coming from, but it's pretty apparent that the arcade was the source of that burning smell considering how scorched the exterior looks.]

Good Morning, good morning! If you follow your nose—even if it's not as good as mine—there's quite a scene around town this morning. You really are all taken by the restored electricity, goodness.

It's a pity both Alfyn Greengrass and Ignis Scentia won't be able to enjoy it any longer, but rest assured last night was eventful for both of them. As exhilarating as it was, I took it upon myself to extinguish the fire, lest it run amok upon all of Krakow.

Now then, you know what you have to do. Ah, and I apologize for the messiness of the autopsy report but you'll understand if you visit them I'm sure.

[ Thanks for steering him this way, Zangetsu........ he loves it. At least he was slightly prepared so he could stop and grab a face mask from the lab on the way over since apparently that isn't an investigation location.

Anyway, he's here, with the autopsy report. And this kind of sucks, honestly, because Alfyn was someone he hadn't had any problems working with, but. Here we are. At least his theory about gradually killing off all the agreeable people here seems to be holding up.
