And the clock ticks down to the end of another week. While the days were no less eventful, the tone set by last Thursday wasn't matched in the same way this time, so perhaps that's a source of relief for some. Looking at it another way though, maybe it was nothing more than the calm before the storm; after all, every Friday has been nothing but bodies upon bodies in some way or another.

So maybe that's why it may be unsurprising to smell something acrid and burnt on the autumn breeze that sweeps through the streets. The bell tolls eight. Time to get investigating.

[ Nothing is immediately off, but this tram station has a small restroom area located off to the side of the tracks. ]

[psychophant]

[Well, let's start there, then!! Great, just where he wanted to go. Thanks, murderer. So is the door closed and/or locked?]

[ When you gotta go, you gotta go! Terrible jokes aside, the door to the restroom is closed, but luckily it's unlocked. ]

[psychophant]

[Awesome, let's see what we have in here!! Anything immediately off?]

[umbralant]

[ Normally immediately off means blood spatter, dirt, or the death of a tram car that happened too soon. In this case it means... the floors in here are really clean, goddamn. You might expect some specks of dirt given the increased activity around the tram towards the end of the week, but here it looks much like it did when you first arrived. ]

[psychophant]

[Huh... That is really weird, actually... Is this tile floor and if so, does it look like anything is caught between the tiles like dirt or blood?]

[ The floor is tile! But there's no signs of dirt or blood, very weird. ]

[psychophant]

[Someone really cleaned this place up, huh... Is there any sign of anything they could have used to clean it up left behind? Is there anything else noticeably off?]

[ There is a trash receptacle against the far wall near the sink, with a paper towel dispenser right above it. From just looking down at it, there are several crumpled up paper towels on top. ]

[psychophant]

[Ugh, gross... Okay, let's check it out! Do the paper towels look like they've been used or are wet, or do they look like they were just crumpled and thrown on top?]

[ The papertowels aren't wet, but given it's now the morning that may or may not mean much. Is he poking around them or just looking into the trash? ]

[psychophant]

[Looking!! You think he's going to go poking around in the trash without a damn good reason??? Why did Pizza have to die, he'd be perfect for this........

But without touching the paper towels, is there any indication of anything beneath them that might be important? Because he's not touching them unless there's a damn good reason!!!]

[ Even Pizza would probably use his staff for something like this. Probably.

Unfortunately for Iago, if he shimmies and cranes his neck just right he will catch a glimpse of paper below the papertowels, and from what little he can see it seems like there are marks on it. ]

[why can't he have nice things!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, fine, if only because everyone will yell at him if he says he found something and then didn't actually investigate it. Time to gingerly pick up a paper towel or two, at least until he can get a look at whatever paper is under there!! Does it look like someone wrote or drew on it?]

[ Hopefully Iago isn't wearing fingerless gloves today. Garbage diving we will go, and he discovers... a drawn sketch of well... it's hard to tell at first glance. The drawing is sketchy and messy, consisting of various shapes and some arrows. ]

[psychophant]

[he doesn't really have a choice, his nails are really long........... look it's fine he'll just spend the rest of this investigation washing his hands once he's done here don't worry about it.

Anyway, a sketch!! He'll fish that out of the trash too in order to get a better look at it. Is this just a standard sheet of paper or does it look like it was torn out of something? What about the sketch itself - is there anything else he can make out in it? And of course, the single most important question in this investigation: what color is the ink????]

[ That's the spirit, Pizza would be so proud!

It's a standard sheet of paper that has been drawn on with black pen. Fishing it out of the trash does help, but Iago may still need to squint a little until something familiar comes into focus. It's an alchemy circle, it's a map of Krakow! Or something that kind of passes for one, at any rate. ]

[pizza still deserves better...

But hmm!! A map of Krakow... So can he make out any specific locations marked on said map? Where are the drawings centered around, presumably the tram stations?]

[ While it appears to be a general map of Krakow, the locations of the tram station are circled, with arrows indicating the direction the train tracks run. ]

[psychophant]

[That's about what he was expecting! Looks like someone worked all this out... if someone wasn't killed with a tram, he's going to be disappointed.

Anyway!! Is there anything else to note about the map or in here in general?]

[ After digging through the trash, disappointment would be a bitter pill to swallow. And nope that's it, feel free to spend the rest of pretrial sanitizing your hands, no one would blame you. ]
