INVESTIGATION 4
And the clock ticks down to the end of another week. While the days were no less eventful, the tone set by last Thursday wasn't matched in the same way this time, so perhaps that's a source of relief for some. Looking at it another way though, maybe it was nothing more than the calm before the storm; after all, every Friday has been nothing but bodies upon bodies in some way or another.
So maybe that's why it may be unsurprising to smell something acrid and burnt on the autumn breeze that sweeps through the streets. The bell tolls eight. Time to get investigating.
OUTSIDE CASTLE TRAM STATION (FEAT. WRECKED TRAM)
tramvestigation
Since he and Dazai are going to need some help getting the body out, he'll start by doing a cursory look at the exterior of the tram. Is there anything out of place within the wreckage?]
no subject
Most if it is splatter, but...on the corner, at the front...there's more blood, more than just splatter]
no subject
He'll have a closer look at the blood at the front, including the underside where that blood-soaked corner is. Basically he's looking to see if this is consistent with something getting run over...]
no subject
Thankfully it's not a ludicrous amount of blood, nobody was completely obliterated by the tram. It's positioned on the round corner, at torso height, using Dist as reference. The stain is irregularly oval-shaped, and some of it form a short streak towards the side of the tram.
Ouch]
no subject
Dist makes a mental note of the blood placement before checking around for any other biohazards around the exterior.
He's also going to take a peek at the underside in a mechanical sense, since the tram is on its side. Is there anything off here?]
no subject
It may take some searching, but a short distance away from the derailed tram, on the rails, there's indeed more blood. There's blood splatter, right on the edge of the rails, drops having fallen here.
And, beside the rails...there's more blood, with a rather unusual pattern. They look like it all fell from something that spun around, forming a wide circle around it.
It's a worrying amount of blood. Nobody seems to have bled out here, but...it's still a lot.]
no subject
Oh, that is definitely worrying. And very strange.
Is it possible to tell if there's any direction to all of this blood? And does it just stop at the weird circle?]
no subject
With one exception: there's just a few droplets separating from it all, and going towards the streets that lead to the arcade. It's not much blood, though...
Still, that's for a separate location. Guess it's time to check the undercarriage of the tram]
no subject
In the meantime, yes, let's check the undercarriage. Dist makes his way back there and starts checking for suspicious damage or any debris caught in places it shouldn't be.]
no subject
First of all: no blood at all over here. Alright!
Second: the very bottom of the front bumper, as well as the frontmost wheels, they're a little bit roughed. Mostly scratches, nothing that stands out too much, and there aren't even that many. Still, scratches on wheels aren't the kind of thing you'd expect from a crash.
That seems to be about it, in terms of...things that aren't wreckage from a derailed tram]
no subject
Is he good to join up with Dazai for the interior?]

[ He's still sitting on the wrecked tram. Standing up to check the tracks to see what caused the tram to derail. Can he see it from there? ]

As for the handrail, there isn't anything there but the door itself has some small smears of blood on the inside part of it.
And regarding what's happening with Ignis, well. From what Dazai can see from this angle (which to be fair, isn't quite the best because this would be all in profile) mostly is just the wreckage of the control board and whatever broken glass Ignis is sitting on here. There's also a lot of blood spatter scattered around the front of the tram, with some of it reaching the windshield but also scattered about on the floor and on some of the non-driver's side closer to the door.]

Either way, while there's a bunch of blood at the front of the tram, it's not like it's painted with it either; there's plenty of spaces you can touch without contacting any of it.
Anything more specific to Ignis' body may require a closer look though.]
no subject
SO NOW WE ARE HERE. Time to inspect the back of the body and the back of his head. ]
no subject
Anyways, the back of the body is more or less straightforward considering there's only two real things of note here. First off is the tip of metal protruding out of Ignis' back, which actually doesn't stain his clothes that badly and we can all be thankful for that because he's wearing a dark-colored shirt from the boutique. That shit's expensive.
As for the back of his head, it seems like it was bleeding quite a bit from what you can see of it matted in his hair. Is he going to examine it closer or at a different angle?]
no subject
Hes going to brush away his hair to try to get a look at the wound there. ]

no subject
Alright, let's try to lean over to check out what he can like this. First he's going to check out Ignis' hand (right). Is there anything there? Also how stuck is he? Would they be able to get the body out or will they need something to cut away the control panel? ]
no subject
Dazai, I am ready to come in!
[...he's so glad Dazai is already inside to not witness him having way too much difficulty climbing up to the door. He usually has a chair to float up to higher places?!
Getting a better look inside...oh, wow. He didn't think Ignis would've gotten straight-up impaled.]
Is there anything I should avoid coming in?
