And the clock ticks down to the end of another week. While the days were no less eventful, the tone set by last Thursday wasn't matched in the same way this time, so perhaps that's a source of relief for some. Looking at it another way though, maybe it was nothing more than the calm before the storm; after all, every Friday has been nothing but bodies upon bodies in some way or another.

So maybe that's why it may be unsurprising to smell something acrid and burnt on the autumn breeze that sweeps through the streets. The bell tolls eight. Time to get investigating.

[WELP, HE'S HERE. HE MAY AS WELL INVESTIGATE THE DANG ARCADE!! He's not a doctor so he won't do corpse touching unless he absolutely has to, so he'll start with investigating around the body. Maybe he'll start on the glass bottles and examine those!]

[The glass bottles are definitely distorted from their typical shape, although they're still recognizable enough. Interestingly enough (or not at all), most don't smell of anything in particular, with the exception of one large bottle that smells faintly of whiskey.]

[ Thanks for steering him this way, Zangetsu........ he loves it. At least he was slightly prepared so he could stop and grab a face mask from the lab on the way over since apparently that isn't an investigation location.

Anyway, he's here, with the autopsy report. And this kind of sucks, honestly, because Alfyn was someone he hadn't had any problems working with, but. Here we are. At least his theory about gradually killing off all the agreeable people here seems to be holding up.

So. How charred are we looking here, buddy. ]

[He's pretty crispy, honestly. With that said, the burning was kind of uneven so there are some patches where his clothing and skin aren't as singed and are still recognizable as... well, Alfyn. There's the smell of whiskey and a mix of burned smells coming from the body, which can safely be assumed to be whatever he had on him/whatever he was wearing/him.

Beyond that, it's hard to say much else without looking closely because the burns pretty much span his whole body and there is some charring going on at some points.]

[ Lovely. Well, if the whiskey smell is that strong, let's get the burned corpse sniffing out of the way now so he can put this mask back on and move on with his life -- is it more like he was doused in it than like he was drinking it? ]

Since he and Dazai are going to need some help getting the body out, he'll start by doing a cursory look at the exterior of the tram. Is there anything out of place within the wreckage?]

[Well there's blood splatter, and unless this is some kind of weird organic tram vehicle, then it's not its blood. That red liquid stands out a lot on the blue and gray exterior of the tram.

Most if it is splatter, but...on the corner, at the front...there's more blood, more than just splatter]

[ He's still sitting on the wrecked tram. Standing up to check the tracks to see what caused the tram to derail. Can he see it from there? ]

[He won't see anything on the tracks! With that said, he will be able to estimate where the derailment started considering there's a rather long skid mark produced by the now messed up paint job of the tram.]

[ Nothing is immediately off, but this tram station has a small restroom area located off to the side of the tracks. ]
