WEEK 4

WEEK 4

Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

[turns out vore sword has more depth to him than anyone ever expected! But Zangetsu himself isn't too excited to have found this side of himself.

He knows Erik is there, but he doesn't start any conversation. Not until he asks about the fish
]

... eh. They're all interesting... but I kind of like this one. [he points to a small black and white shark swimming along the bottom] It's cute, especially for a shark.

[ press f for all the people learning not to underestimate zangetsu! ]

That one? [ Leaning in to peer at the shark but not touching the glass. It's easy to see why he picked this one in particular, that color scheme is not subtle. ] Wait, that's a shark? Wouldn't have guessed it from looking at it, I thought sharks were supposed to be bigger.
moonfang: (noogies)

[including Zangetsu!! wow!]

Mmm. Sharks come in a lot of different sizes. I think these littler ones are easier ta keep.
bawcock: (♪ never meant to do those things to you)

You know a lot about them. Got any names to go with these faces?
moonfang: (goddammit.)

[he gestures to some of the information next to the glass] Only what I read there.
bawcock: (♪ i wish i didn't do)

That explains it! I'm more into stars than fish, but I might as well give it a look-see. Unless, that is, you want to spare me the trouble and tell me what you remember.

[ heading to the information panel anyway 'cause he doesn't see that happening ]
moonfang: (blah blah blah)

[personal profile] moonfang 2020-02-03 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not really "into" fish. I was just bored. But apparently these fish in this tank are all found in the Pacific ocean near Japan and East Asia.

All places I've never even heard of. What strange and funny names these worlds have.

[ Sometimes, it's pretty fun to imagine what kind of places they are and what the people there might be like. The museum helps in that area. A shrug before he moves on! ] Anyway, what does interest you? Fighting is an obvious one, maybe even snowglobes, but what else?
moonfang: (silence)

I guess, for someone from another world, they might sound weird.

[he rolls his eyes] ... Nothing else interests me. I shouldn't have any other interests.
