Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

Anyway, he laughs after a moment and waves a hand as if to dismiss it.]

And here I thought you trusted me, Dist... Though I must admit, you're making it very difficult to stop teasing you.

I have limits, Iago! Limits that you are pushing!

Oh no. Oh no, he started raising his voice, didn't he. Nobody better have heard the commotion.

He just kind of. Shrinks in his chair, defeated. He doesn't even have a rebuttal for the teasing comment. He did this to himself. He's made his mistakes, and he's got nowhere to run.]

[Well, we've definitely been overheard by now...]

My apologies. [He presses his hand to his chest and ducks his head a bit. It's not really a bow, but it gets the point across well enough.] I didn't mean to upset you. I'll be more careful in the future.

[There isn't anything sarcastic or teasing in his tone and when he straightens back up he's settled back into his usual expression.]

I'll leave you be, if you'd prefer. I would like to hear more about Kaiser Dist at some point, though.
