WEEK 4
WEEK 4
Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.
But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.
[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

Okay, slapping down that book (Mechanical and Electrical Systems for Construction Managers) he stole from the Lady's room with his left hand and opening it up to where he stuck the letter draft. He puts down the spool of copper wire too, it's free for anyone to take if they want the Lady's garbage. ]
As for this stuff, it all comes from the Lady. Or, to be more exact, the Lady's room. Before you ask, her room was a total pigsty, which kind of makes me wonder what the heck Rembrandt's cleaning up in that place. [ Nothing? Gotta be nothing. ] There were machine parts everywhere, a couple of letters to Rembrandt telling him to get her tea or where she'd be, and but before I could poke around more Rembrandt found me.
Oh, and you can thank Zangetsu for all of this. He's the one who helped me get over the wall.

He does pause at the letter. Scanning it quickly. ]
Ah. Maybe that's the missing piece.

But so weird... so she's a body hopper? I guess that's one way to achieve immortality.
.... though if the body she's inhabiting is one of her enemies like this letter seems ta imply, I guess that would explain why she acted so excited when I threatened ta kill her.

If she intends on leaving the body she's in now, then that would be the time to catch her. What are the odds that she intends to use one of us as her next body, you think?
[He's also going to throw a glance in Dazai's direction. He has Ideas on how to stop this, but they rely on him.]

My guess is? Probably pretty high. The only other person around here is Rembrandt anyway, and I don't think he'd be all that willing to play host for her.

But yeah Ango won't talk about Dazai's canon powers, Dazai can bring them up if he wants to. Instead:]
If we get our original powers back, I will be able to get every bit of information we need on the Lady. Her name, the way to defeat her, and so on.

I mentioned this last meeting, but around the time I had spoken to her in that week, she seemed confident that everything was falling into place. And that she was going to be leaving this place relatively soon, though she did give a generous estimate of that happening in 'a few days or a few months'.

Still, you deserve an acknowledgement of a good job out there, Erik. I really do appreciate what you've done.
...That letter is the most obvious concerning thing. And we'll probably be needing to find a way to combat that ability of hers sooner than later.
