Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

[ HE DOESN'T KNOW IF IT'S CAPABLE OF MOVING FASTER THAN THIS, so it seems prudent to be non-threatening right now, and also to maybe get ready to take that leftover croquette out of his pocket to throw at it, but like.

It's small enough that he can probably crush it under his heel if needed, right. ]

[ The size of this blob is indeed heel crushing size, so it isn't very threatening on it's own. As before the blob doesn't answer, but it does start to pick up speed from a crawl to something resembling a glide. ]

[ Jaws theme plays. The blob is now almost within striking distance... ]

[ Welp. Throws half-croquette toward it. But like, slightly over somewhere not directly in front of him. ]

[ It completely ignores the croquette, quivers and then leaps right at Rideaux. ]

[ Sidesteps it, hopefully????

But also EXCUSE ME AREN'T YOU SHADOW ASSHOLES SUPPOSED TO BE HUNGRY??? he just wasted half a croquette for nothing are you kidding him ]

[ Maybe it doesn't like croquettes, gosh. The blob just misses, but is quickly rallying for strike #2. ]

but ok pal try that again he will kick you like you're an eight year old girl into next week ]

And hell yeah it's trying again! The kick connects, the blob goes flying and then disintegrates midair in a small burst of shadow. An object falls to the floor where mr./mrs does not like croquettes was. ]
