WEEK 4

Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

Considering all we've had for so long are the costumes from the opera house, this is a blessing. What are you planning on making, though?

I was thinking of making a little something for Seteth. He's had to stick with only the priest clothing it looks like, and even then it looked like it was uncomfortable...given the situation with the spikes and all.

Oh, that's true.

It's very kind of you to make him something that will cover them a bit better. He might be able to wear a larger size of these, [indicating the jackets] since I doubt they'd tear all that easily, but I haven't gotten a good look at the spikes so I can't say for certain.

[Thankfully, Iago had some goddamn tact and did not ask to poke the spikes. At least there's that.]

[ That's fine... Rean didn't expect it to occur to most people. He was just overly-thoughtful like that. ]

That is true. So at least he has something to wear if he one—so hopefully there's hardly an issue with those.

[ Though he'll try to help there too if there was. Speaking of jackets, it'll be nice to have one himself. ]

As many as I can carry.

It's not as though there's anyone aside from us who will use them, so I might as well take what I can find in my size.

...He might've not been all that eager to take some clothing from the opera house. So he stuck it out with priest clothes and his original homeworld wear due to pure stubbornness.

But with this variety, he was going to take A Lot himself. ]

I think that's understandable. I'm definitely going to take a sizable amount myself - and I'm sure with this much variety, there'll still be enough left for the others.

Certainly. We seem to have a wide variety of sizes, so I imagine it won't be too much trouble for everyone to find something they can wear.

[and if not then too bad!! should've moved faster to swipe the clothes first!!!]

Haha, yeah. Speaking of which...I don't doubt there's going to be a lot of people in here soon. When they hear there's a place full of decent clothing, that is.

Of course. I may have to ask Dist for a bit of help with some of this... But I'm certain I'll find something acceptable.

It's also good to know you're getting along with other people. Though, I never doubted that could be the case.

Oh, of course. Dist and I get along quite well. We share a room sometimes, after all.

[they got along like a house on fire from their first conversation and are going to spend the entire time in this boutique being aggressively themselves at each other, they're a disaster duo.]

Haha, that is true. It's really nice having someone with you in a situation like this.

[ Rean knew he'd never take it for granted. So even though everything hasn't been a smooth ride on his end, he's been grateful. Especially since a certain Prince met his maker. ]

You and Dazai seem to be quite close too.

Yeah. It's hard not to at least be grateful for that. I can't say it's been all easy, but all the same at the end of the day, it's something I don't take lightly.

This entire thing is dreadful, but at the very least we've met some interesting people.
