Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

Probably some menial task, like cleaning up your room or cooking a meal or something. You're too lazy for your own good.

Okay, well, it's a new week, and it's time to do a little exploring! That's probably a good distraction from whatever the fuck all that was. Sigh. Okay. He'll check out the boutique first to see if there's anything he can fit over his spikes without ruining it. He feels kind bad just stealing, so if he can return the clothes without destroying them...

Well, it's probably not going to happen, but he's doing his best here, alright. Even with the nicer temperatures it's too cold for anything backless and he's not really much of a tailor beyond simply mending clothes, so he's gonna be here a while...

After he's either found something or just kinda given up, he's going to head to the... well, he starts out on the footbridge and tries to figure out what's going on with it, but once he's done an investigation... woof. He's not super fond of those statues!

So he's going to hang out by the river as much as he can during the warmer hours of the day. It's warmer than it has been, so he'll just take a break by hanging out not too far to the side of the bridge and watching the water go by.]

Ah, if only I had a fishing pole... this is the one place it's appropriate.

[If there are fancy clothes, you can bet Dist will be there! While his style is definitely a bit more...unique...when it comes to suits, these ones will do for now.

Before he can start properly raiding the shop though, he spots Iago browsing through its offerings.]

Iago! Had you not been here already, I would have made sure to drag you over.

He wanders over to see what Iago's looking at.]

We ought to try outfits on together.

[Dist continues to be the most valid person in this hellhole!!! Good to see he's not alone here, and Dist's eccentric fashion tastes line up pretty well with his own, so this works out well.]

[He's been primarily looking at the thicker coats because it's cold, but he gestures to the suits that Dist has undoubtedly already had an eye on.]

Help me pick something out. I'm unfamiliar with these styles.

The clergy dorms are starting to smell. There's only so much we can do, what with laundry being so difficult to wash, and I was hoping to at least make the area a bit more pleasant-smelling.

Are you familiar with any of the items in here?

[Besides the incense obviously, and these sure are some rocks. He's primarily talking about all the tarot card decks, since those are... kinda sorta familiar? Not something he's personally familiar with, but that exists within his world in a different country, basically.]

I believe they are fortune-telling cards? It isn't my thing, personally, but the artwork does look nice.

[Ango doesn't really believe in any of the 'it's so mysterious oooo' stuff. He's more of a hard facts kind of guy.]

And most of the other items are for fortune-telling. But honestly, it's mostly parlor tricks. I could take a deck of these cards and tell everyone I would give them their fortunes, but just make up random things to tell them. It's about as accurate as an actual fortune teller would be.

[The sad thing is, half the people here would probably believe him.]
