WEEK 1
WEEK 1
Your hosts have come and gone, and have left you with nothing but more questions and a key. Regardless of how you reacted or what you decided to do soon after that, it’s a fact that the day must end eventually.
And so it does, with the striking of the clock. As the twelve gongs reverberate and disappear into the night, the rest of the city is left silent save for a chilly wind that skims the streets. Those who have retired to their assigned rooms will find that the furnishings are decent enough to get a good night’s sleep, while those who wander the city will only continue to see empty streets and fog. But regardless of how you spend the night, eventually it will become readily apparent that dawn will not be coming any time soon as the waxing moon continues to hang in the sky even as the clock strikes six or seven or eight.
No one’s stopping you from wallowing in bed or holing up in a building during this perpetual night, but there’s a whole city out there to check out and some interesting additions to the Opera House decor; don’t forget though, a cage is a cage and every good cage needs its bars. While a portion of the streets and buildings are clear, any intrepid explorers won’t find themselves able to get very far through the fog that surrounds them; anyone who tries to venture through will end up getting turned around and end up right back where they started. Still, there’s plenty of other places to check, even if the fog-shrouded buildings are more or less off limits. Fortune favors the bold, after all.
[[Welcome to Week 1! Feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also now privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt at your leisure!]]

The art on the walls is what one would expect in a reasonably nice cafe, scenic with shots of nature and trees contrasting with pictures of what Dazai recognizes now of Krakow. All of the art is normal, which is to say it depicts a Krakow with a sun and lit up night life. The skyline looks particularly beautiful when everything is lit.
As for any items of interest around the counter, it's just more of the same post it notes Setheth found the other day—notes to remember to take out the trash, order more strawberries and so on, but there's no dates. ]

There's no employee room to be seen and the area is pretty sparse behind the counter—it seems this cafe was likely fed food and drink from the upstairs restaurant which is considerably more decked out. ]

What about the small stage? Anything there? Is there a changing room around there to nose through? ]

Time to pick up the paper airplane and look it over. Anything noteworthy on the outside? Is there any writing or smudges? If it's clear hes just going to open it up to check it out. ]

...which is why she didn't. Picking it up he'll realize it's a tourist brochure about Krakow. There's all kinds of helpful information: 100 USD ~ 300 ZLN, an advertisement for the restaurant in the Opera House,▲= men's washroom, ● ladies washroom, cheers = na zdrowie, public drinking is illegal, and so on.
Once Dazai's done reading the helpful tips, he'll notice there is something written on the brochure in sloppy polish: "You suck!". Have you ever gotten boo'ed with a paper airplane before? ]
no subject
This is the first he's been boo'ed by airplane, which is why he'll fold it back up to use on someone (probably Ango) later.
He's going to do one last perimeter check. Walking around and checking tables and chairs for anything interesting. Is there anything else to find? Do the dimensions of the place line up to the floor above? Is there anything off about it? ]

Now go spread the love, Dazai. ]
