WEEK 5

Was what happened on Friday yet another tragedy in a string of them or just a complete shitshow? Well, regardless of which line of thought you subscribe to, the reality of it is that another three of your number are no longer in this realm with you. At least the remains of what had happened last week have been neatly cleaned up as always, even if that might not change what’s been etched in your memories. The drum set in the jazz bar remains busted though, because the masterminds aren't that generous. At least the tarot shop and boutique remain fine even if the vanished crystals and women's clothing aren't going to be restocked.

But either way, it’s a new week, and that means new locations to explore as the fog gives way to more of the city and its lamplit streets. The new moon waxes to half this week, appearing as a crescent moon for most of the week. It's far from optimistic, but maybe the brightening is a sign that this will be over soon...? Or maybe it just means the worst is yet to come, it's hard to say.

It must be important if they are sharing it. They only have a limited window to talk to us, and it sounds like they may die in a week.

Mmm. If it's important enough fer them to take the time to talk about it, it's important enough for us to go get it. Heist, part 2!

I'm not so sure about this, but if things over there are as bad as they say they are... I dunno if I've got a choice. I'll give it a shot, just give me some time to scope the place out and find some tools.

As great as it is to hear someone praising my skills, it's hard to call a thief who got caught and tossed in a cell a "master." Let's say I'm good enough to get into most, not all, places undetected.

But that won't help me work a computer.

Ya don't need to work it. Ya just need to grab it. We can plug it in somewhere safe.

Bring it to the auto shop. They will be restoring the power there.

There's a difference between "asking nicely" and "forcing people into sharing their powers". Until it becomes relevant, I'd prefer to keep it to myself.
