Was what happened on Friday yet another tragedy in a string of them or just a complete shitshow? Well, regardless of which line of thought you subscribe to, the reality of it is that another three of your number are no longer in this realm with you. At least the remains of what had happened last week have been neatly cleaned up as always, even if that might not change what’s been etched in your memories. The drum set in the jazz bar remains busted though, because the masterminds aren't that generous. At least the tarot shop and boutique remain fine even if the vanished crystals and women's clothing aren't going to be restocked.

But either way, it’s a new week, and that means new locations to explore as the fog gives way to more of the city and its lamplit streets. The new moon waxes to half this week, appearing as a crescent moon for most of the week. It's far from optimistic, but maybe the brightening is a sign that this will be over soon...? Or maybe it just means the worst is yet to come, it's hard to say.

It's not bad to have snacks from time to time. But only having those isn't good at all.

Yeah, sure. It'll be easier having a second set of hands in the kitchen. I'll handle the seasoning and the rice.

...Maybe some Carbonara? It's been awhile since I've had a chance to make anything like that.

I'm grabbing juice and drinks from the vending machines to bring.

[ And because he didn't, he's sure as hell keeping himself away from the booze when the party starts. Going to be living the juice life.

[ Dazai is definitely drinking alcohol and he will encourage Rean to do the same. ]

I know some people don't trust anything opened already.

[ So it's to let people have a choice and to let people see that it's not poisoned. What a group this is ]

After the party, I will be bothering Ango for a bit. But I'll come poke you after that.

[ It's Motive Night after all. Maybe it'll be something that's upsetting? ]

[ Rean would've forgotten about Motive Night if it weren't for the fact that it's been proven people have killed for motives for the past four weeks or so... ]

[ What are friends for? He'll make sure Rean gets to his room afterwards.

There's something in his gaze at how it goes. It's something darker and almost empty for a moment before he smiles again. ]

I will~ Maybe we can turn it into a sleepover.

[ He hasn't really done the sleepover thing before this place, but... it staves off the darkness for a little bit. ]

[ He'll look kind of perturbed for a second. He'll just make a small prayer to Aidios that everything went well with Ango then.

Rean will try to give the other a reassuring smile at least. ]

I wouldn't mind at all. It's what we usually do on Thursdays anyway.

[ There's a subtle drop in his shoulders as he feels relieved to hear that Rean doesn't mind. The corner of his mouth lifts up just a little, but he keeps his focus forward. After everything that has been going on, he's been more or less expecting Rean to say they can't even be friends any more. ]
