WEEK 5
WEEK 5
Was what happened on Friday yet another tragedy in a string of them or just a complete shitshow? Well, regardless of which line of thought you subscribe to, the reality of it is that another three of your number are no longer in this realm with you. At least the remains of what had happened last week have been neatly cleaned up as always, even if that might not change what’s been etched in your memories. The drum set in the jazz bar remains busted though, because the masterminds aren't that generous. At least the tarot shop and boutique remain fine even if the vanished crystals and women's clothing aren't going to be restocked.
But either way, it’s a new week, and that means new locations to explore as the fog gives way to more of the city and its lamplit streets. The new moon waxes to half this week, appearing as a crescent moon for most of the week. It's far from optimistic, but maybe the brightening is a sign that this will be over soon...? Or maybe it just means the worst is yet to come, it's hard to say.
[[Welcome to Week 5! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 5 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]
Party
For entertainment, various games can be found set up on a few tables nearest to the instruments (chess, a deck of cards, jenga, or anything else from the hotel). The notebook is back again on a new page for people to write about themselves or any of the deceased. There’s a book on space and an art book from the museum over where the host is hanging out at. Dazai is sitting there, with his hands folded in his lap giving a grin. ]
Hello! I do encourage everyone to grab a drink for tonight’s game. We do have sealed bottles on the bar if anyone is worried about tampering. Oh yeah, the Jukebox works! Feel free to play whatever you want on there.
[ Even if it’s What’s New Pussycat twenty times in a row. ]
First Game: Never Have I Ever
Okay everyone, grab a drink. It's time to play Never Have I Ever. [ He's making himself a glass of whiskey and will play bartender if anyone asks him to. ]
You say something you haven't ever done, and if someone has done it before they will have to take a drink. I could say, for example, that I have never owned a pet before. If you have owned one or currently still own one, then you would take a drink. Got it?
Never Have I Ever been Nineteen and Older

[ Mikami is here and... miraculously appears to be playing? At least he's seated in the general area of the game and he has a drink. That he's sipping from now. Maybe coincidentally or maybe because he is 27. ]

Rideaux isn't exactly thrilled at the idea of socializing with a lot of the people here right now, but he also is not going to let those assholes drink and have fun without him. So here he is, and here are his knives, and everyone can fucking deal with it.
He'll be standing near the wall with a drink for much of the evening and making sure everyone knows he's watching them -- though at other points he can be found by the jukebox, which he seems pretty familiar with the workings of, trying to find a decent jazz instrumental, or reading through the instructions for Monopoly with the game still in the box.
...He's not wearing his sunglasses, but they're sticking out of the pocket of his vest. ]
Monopoly;
Were you thinking of playing that game with someone?
[ He's never played Monopoly but he could recognize that it seemed to be a board game from here. ]
