WEEK 4

WEEK 4

Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

[[Welcome to Week 4! Note that new areas have been added, and can be found under the Week 4 tab on our Locations page. Once again, feel free to make top levels at your discretion, and remember to note it in your header if you plan on investigating any locations. You can also privately contact The Lady or Rembrandt.]]

[Ango reads the note, and then his eyes narrow a bit. Yeah. that sure is a thing right there.]

If she intends on leaving the body she's in now, then that would be the time to catch her. What are the odds that she intends to use one of us as her next body, you think?

[He's also going to throw a glance in Dazai's direction. He has Ideas on how to stop this, but they rely on him.]

[ Following his gaze but doesn't get it. Meanwhile, he looks at Zangetsu after cause he's the g-ghost. Maybe he has some insight here on the how's. ]

My guess is? Probably pretty high. The only other person around here is Rembrandt anyway, and I don't think he'd be all that willing to play host for her.

That would be a good time, but we'd need someone with the ability ta interact with spirits. Ergo, I need my powers back. [he grumbles. So many things would be so much easier if he had his powers!] Hell, if I had them, I could force her out!

Knowing that, we could entice her into a trap. We could make one of ourselves look particularly enticing, and then everyone else could stage an attack at the moment of transfer.

[ Meeting his look. He can already figure out what Ango is thinking about. The issue is... there is only one known way for that so far. ]

[There is, and it's another problem entirely that they'll have to solve if they go with that method. Which might make it less ideal than other methods.

But yeah Ango won't talk about Dazai's canon powers, Dazai can bring them up if he wants to. Instead:
]

If we get our original powers back, I will be able to get every bit of information we need on the Lady. Her name, the way to defeat her, and so on.

Maybe we can have her body help us out. If we find out who she is, then maybe we can wake her up.

You are assuming the soul still resides in the body. And creatures that can possess different bodies will typically have some form of resistance to spiritual manipulation.

Probably relatively high. And speaking of timing...

I mentioned this last meeting, but around the time I had spoken to her in that week, she seemed confident that everything was falling into place. And that she was going to be leaving this place relatively soon, though she did give a generous estimate of that happening in 'a few days or a few months'.
