Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

"K" was the first initial on a patch I found in one of the bags in the museum lockers, as well.

It seems like a common enough letter for first names to start with here, so there's no reason to think there's any connection, but it may be worth keeping in mind.

It does seem like it was a large enough city, as well. It would surprise me if things were that connected, but... perhaps it is relevant.

The last initial on that was a "C," so maybe just keep an eye out for that combination instead.

That’s probably the best course of action, yes. I do find myself feeling for them, whoever they are.

I likewise have a suspect of 'M' to offer, however unlikely a connection may be. A certain Mikolaj Michalski has left his ID in the gym locker rooms.

Given the appearances of K and M specifically, I don't think it can be coincidence. These letters we're finding in different places, I think they're the same people.
'K' being one, and 'Mikolaj' being the other.

I'm not sure it fits with the implications on the padlock. In 2012, Michalski appears to have been comatose for a while, according to his lover.

Items in the gym lockers get cleared out after a month, so Michalski should have been alive and using the facility about a month before the catastrophe swept this town.

If the Lady can possess bodies, then who's saying Michalski didn't get possessed at some point after the note in 2012?

Especially if that person was in a coma. Most'a the time, comatose people's souls are hangin' around, but not connected to their bodies no more.

Actually, is it possible for the soul of the body that the Lady is in to be spending time in the Twilight? She might have some insight for us, if we can find her.

I wish I knew more about how this world's afterlife works, but... it does seem like this "Twilight" place is a holding place for Souls. She could very well be there! What we really need is a reliable way to chat with the dead.

The power in the museum was restored moments before those calling themselves the souls of the dead used that creature to communicate.

I doubt it would be so convenient, but their appearance may be linked to the presence of electricity.

If they are on a different plane or dimension of the same reality, and if there is some possible connection even in separation...

[Which, y'know. Presumably they talked to a graveyard T-rex, but you never know.

I suppose they could affect this plane. It seems far more restricted than the usual spiritual existence.

I'm not knowledgeable about possession, but it feels like an odd course of action to just keep up in this scenario.

Well, that would depend on if they were tryin' to blend in until they made their move.
