Last week could probably only be summed up as a mess. Three people died, one was turned to currency and the hotel pool remains in a general state of unusability unless swimming in pulpy mush is someone’s idea of a good time. And that’s not even counting the haunted morse code T-Rex. At least the greenhouse is as relaxing as ever, even if someone seems to have made off with a number of succulents and cacti.

But with the new week comes a new set of locations to explore as the fog retreats to reveal another portion of the city. The half moon wanes to a new moon this week, leaving streets even dimmer this week -- hopefully you have some other portable sources of light available if you plan on straying too far beyond the reach of the lampposts in the new areas.

[It's more of a placeholder as he considers that. He certainly can't argue it, given what he's seen in Nohr and what he's attempting to do back home as well, but... It feels strange to put it so simply, maybe.]

She didn't tell me what it consists of. Rembrandt is her seventh assistant and he's nearly perfect to her. He just doesn't share her interest in her gadgets.

For starters, this section seems pretty filled out, more than you might expect for just a tarot shop. It's all alphabetical too, with subjects ranging from alchemy, geomancy, divination, magical orders, Wicca and so on. Maybe interesting stuff, but what's more curious is that the A-F section is notably more empty than the rest of the shelf. ]

Yeager is somewhat like that, I suppose. Aggressively odd, and shameless about the oddness. Interested in unusual things. Likes to talk quite a bit, regardless of whether anyone asked him to.

Huh... Does it look as though certain sections (say, all the Bs) have been removed entirely, or is it just slim pickings throughout these letters and the rest are more filled out? And while we're here, nothing looks familiar, right? It's not stuff from other worlds, basically.]

I'm not particularly interested in getting that close to them either. I suppose even if they do remember it wouldn't matter much; I doubt they have any way to communicate with us or would want to.

He isn't. He's a member of the Guilds that I'm doing business with under the table - he sells weaponry, and...well, I am preparing for war, after all.
