finer food, but no music
[Well that was...unpleasant, to say the least. Two more deaths, but this time there's the matter of whatever's happening to Seteth as well.
Ignis is trying not to think about it, which means he's thinking about it a lot, which means he spends a few moments pacing and trying to figure out what to do. He thinks back to the party - for as much as you could call it that - that Olivert hosted, and, well... He's not sure how much morale can be boosted, but it's worth a shot, isn't it?
The decorations of the opera house are much simpler this time around, but the food is noticeably better, between the actual operational kitchen and the fact Ignis is much more skilled than Olivert. The food is well made and it even looks delicious from where it's set up, and there's a sign outside the opera house that reads:]
A not as grand feast, for all of us to enjoy.
Attendance is not mandatory, but it might be better than staying alone.
Catered by Ignis Scientia.
[At least there are less rose petals this time.]

[Yes, yes it is.]

[ Not after the gamble with food last week. ]
Do you have any recommendations from your culinary haze?

[He has put so much food on the table. He glances over the spread, putting a hand to his chin.]
I think the daggerquill came out excellently.
[...It’s chicken.]

[ Give him a moment. He'll guess the chicken dish, pointing at it. ]
Are the birds in your world dangerous?
no subject
[But to answer his question!]
A lot of our livestock species are rather dangerous - ranching isn’t as common a profession as just hunting the foul fowl.

[ Hand to his chin. ]
I wonder if it can still be called livestock... More like game.

Probably not, if you want to get technical. They're not the most dangerous beast out there, but still a threat in their own right.

[ Time to have a bite! He's pretty pleased if the smile is any indication. ]
It tastes quite good! It isn't a foul fowl at all.

[Cows and garula are starkly different.]
I'm glad you enjoy it.

[ Wide gesture. ]

Yes, definitely.
