From what you can see, all the lights in the opera house are turned on. Only when you enter and see the open doors that lead into the main theater, you can see that room's lights are currently turned off. It's very dark in there.

Like before, Rembrandt escorts everybody to the stage. In the dark you still can see the many blue-eyed things you may be getting used to. They're still very scared of Rembrandt, staying as far away from the assistant as possible. The stage is illuminated by the spotlights, the only light in this theater.

The Lady and Rembrandt are at their balcony. She stands up, addressing the group:

"This time we don't need any introductions, do we? Let's make this an interesting trial, just like last week. Give me a name! Who is the killer this time?"

Short and sweet. Will the Lady give you that offer later? Only time will tell.

Let the trial for the death of Lysithea von Ordelia begin.

[ Shin's been a bit quiet... Possibly because he missed the investigation and is upset he didn't get to sketch the body. But there is one thing on his mind. ]

... I don't know if this has anything to do with our exploding fish, but I noticed Pizza chasing a bird around the Main Square because "he wanted to see something." I'm sure others might have noticed him running amok as well.

[ He casts an accusatory glance at the boy in question. ] Care to explain what that was all about before people start pointing fingers?

[ she gives him a little smirk. it doesn't seem as snarky as it usually is, though. ]

Oh. [ Blink. ] Well the answer is still no!

[ He'll give pizza a pat on the head. ]

Who do you trust to share that with?

[ He blinks at the contact then shakes it off. Being headpat at trial isn't the greatest memory. ]

I already shared it with them.

Then I hope you won't mind if they share if people continue to push.

That isn't fair to them either.

Something like your powers, perhaps? This isn't the time to withhold information from everyone like that.

Come on, I had to reveal my powers at the last trial. Fair is fair.

I won't forget what Kyousuke said, so no.

[ He would be making the x symbol with his hands but he seems a bit too serious for that right now. ]

Yeah, we were. [ Last trial was not fun for him. ]

I have no idea what that has to do with any of this. Are we really going to start pointing out when people are acting strange?

[ Like, if there was a reason, but it just seemed so out of the blue. ]

Forgive me for bringing it up, but I needed to be sure Lysithea was the only one who tampered with the fish. I was reminded of Pizza's... Antics.

As long as we don't start throwing names out there based solely on what strange things people have been up to during the week. We aren't going to get anywhere if we base speculation on that.

He's more or less right. Still, I don't think it's a bad thing to explore every avenue we can. And we did learn last week that what happens before Thursday might be relevant, though I doubt everyone will be as obvious as that guy was.

[ Shrug, shrug. ] I think the takeaway here is to try to remember what you saw, but don't read so much into it that you lose sight of everything else that went on.

[ Not to imply that this guy is. It's more general rule of thumb. tl;dr keep on keeping on dude ]

Don't worry. I'm just taking a moment to consider that observation.

Like I said, I wasn't sure if that had anything to do with our case, but that doesn't mean we can dismiss the observation entirely.

We can't really rule it out entirely. Our killer last week did spend a fair amount of time practicing out in plain sight, and pointed it out with a cute little "oh, didn't you notice" once he was caught. So actually, yes, basing speculation on who's been acting strangely lately seems entirely fair.
